Let's do a song for how our day has been, with a little blurb about how or why, if you want.As soon as our family members walk out the door, we immediately miss them, but this year has been...erm...rather chaotic with the company. I'm sure that we'll appreciate the memories, but...uh, yeah... So this seems appropriate tonight, although I generally really enjoy this time of year. This is my song of the moment.It's by Dan Croll and it is about a year old. However, the beat sums up where I am at the moment, I am happy but at the mellow at the same time. The lyrics are about love, because I am currently dealing with a situation at the moment. However the chorus adequately sums up the confusion. This song has been haunting me a lot in the timeframe with my "Dark night of the soul" period in april and may last year, leading up to the june concert.
I almost considered it a personal affront that the radiostation would play it everytime I had to get up (and I have to get up at different times) - always this song.
(Interestingly Pink is one of his favourite singers, and frankly, I like her, too). Anyway one morning in early june I think, I entered a classroom and someone had written the first partsof the lyrics on the chalkboard!
Well after june the song miraculously stopped haunting me, and now here we are again.
Faith, so it had to be you, bringing the song back into my life?
