Do you feel like it's out of sync with your own philosophy on life? Or do you relate to what I said?

If someone or something causes pain - then that person or event appears "evil" or at the very least, unfortunate/negative/horrible.
But pain is an important part of growth. At times in my life when I went through something painful - I learnt so much more about human nature and the world around me.
I can't imagine who I would be today without those painful experiences or the so-called "evil" in the world that caused them. I guess I would be a much more superficial and unaware person.

I just feel like we (as people) are inclined to see anything that causes pain as immediately negative or evil.. But I mostly (try my best!) to see painful experiences as learning experiences
