What I usually do (I live in the city) is get off at a random metro station & just discover a new neighborhood that I have never been in. I then take a random bus & get off at a random spot. I will sometimes get lost, but I love just being in a new neighborhood to discover the people & the vibe. I eventually always find my way back, I always seem to find a metro station.
