PS Just kidding, I know I'm exceptionally sappy. Btw I LOVE the beginning of this song: Yellow Diamonds in the Light....
Ok, no tears but I love that song "Mean" IP: Logged |

Wow, Its been forever I even thought of the Bee Gees. I can remember the power of WLS radio pumping it out , coming across my brothers Knightkit radio back in 1966. As I grew up they went disco and I did not. How can you mend a broken heart had great vocals when they first did it, and I started a Joke was a unique song. And now for something completely different/ Tom Waits - (Looking For) The Heart Of Saturday Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7UHd7NVegE&list=PL81C02B60ED1F94CA&index=21 ------------------ -- IP: Logged |

What a great thread. My fave Pink Floyd song is an old one: Fearless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCgQuj8v2gg You say the hill's too steep to climb Climb it. You say you'd like to see me try Climbing. You pick the place and I'll choose the time And I'll climb That hill in my own way. Just wait a while for the right day. And as I rise above the tree lines and the clouds I look down, hearing the sound of the things you've said today. Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd Smiling. Merciless the magistrate turns 'round Frowning. And who's the fool who wears the crown? And go down, in your own way And every day is the right day And as you rise above the fear-lines in his brow You look down, hearing the sound of the faces in the crowd. IP: Logged |

Grateful Dead"New Speedway Boogie" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nOpJMQ3-VE Please don't dominate the rap, jack, if you've got nothing new to say. If you please, don't back up the track this train's got to run today. I spent a little time on the mountain, I spent a little time on the hill I heard someone say "Better run away", others say "better stand still". Now I don't know, but I been told it's hard to run with the weight of gold, Other hand I have heard it said, it's just as hard with the weight of lead. Who can deny, who can deny, it's not just a change in style? One step down and another begun and I wonder how many miles. I spent a little time on the mountain, I spent a little time on the hill Things went down we don't understand, but I think in time we will. Now, I don't know but I was told in the heat of the sun a man died of cold. Keep on coming or stand and wait, with the sun so dark and the hour so late. You can't overlook the lack, jack, of any other highway to ride. It's got no signs or dividing lines and very few rule to guide. I saw things getting out of hand, I guess they always will. Now I don't know but I been told If the horse don't pull you got to carry the load. I don't know whose back's that strong, maybe find out before too long. One way or another, one way or another, One way or another, this darkness got to give.
