There is a man I've been having problems with. His son got molested and he had been going through a lot. I helped him through a lot of crap. Well I asked him to return the favor today...and to meet me at star bucks because I am seriously wanting to kill myself. And he did not come! Surprise...I guess...what do you all think? Did he just take advantage of my sympathetic ways?

I forgive him, he's not the first..I just invested a lot of time in making him happy....It just sucks to say the least....
And...yeah I really am having a hard time not harming myself right now, I can feel the wrists screaming for it

As for did he take advantage, I don't know enough to say. Did he say he'd be there and then brushed you off? Did he understand that you were suicidal rather than just wanting some company? If yes to both, then he probably took advantage. Of course it's possible he was in a car wreck or something that prevented him from showing up and telling you he couldn't make it, or some other emergency.

There are other possibilities, but assuming you asked for him to show up immediately (and he agreed to) then they aren't likely at all...save maybe he was a little late (I don't know how much time you gave him to show up, but I know a guy who deeply regretted cussing another guy out in text for flaking out only to realize he was pulling up, and the guy had gotten stuck in traffic and was late by only 5 minutes or so).
