Awe that warms my heart. This is so hard on so many .. your son knows he's got a mom he appreciates too. May you two have many years of warm embraces with eachother -ahead.

I'm greatful for warmth, shelter, my boys and family. For the neighbors who are still here. For our services still intact despite outside conditions

..
for the peace 'I feel we will all share' soon. The climate of F+H will soon run it's course. I'm greatful that that will be a memory and love and kindness again will be the strongest energy.

I'm greatful we can have clean dishes, laundry, surroundings. We have a laugh to share. A smile to exchange. A heart to connect.

And adding that
I'm greatful that we have online communities like LL where we can share thoughts, feelings and learn ideas and matters of metaphysics, spiritual, theology, science and ALL matters we might seem of our personal interests for self growth --- from (with eachother) WITHOUT judgement or ridicule. That I am so very greatful for.

I told him that if we didn't pick something tonight, he was going to have to do it, and then we'd see if it worked, or I'd be looking for something else next weekend. He was still awake at gone midnight (unusual for him), doing his thing where he sounds like a little boy who has had too much sugar. Just messing around. We then settled on colours that we'd skimmed over earlier on, when he asked what sort of a colour was "cream in my coffee?"

I'm grateful for him, even when we have issues.

I read supposedly true spooky stories every year, on another site that asks for people to submit them for a competition. I finally went back to read the submissions in the comments, starting with "newest first" and found one that I'd missed last month, when the browser kept refreshing, and losing my place.

I'm tired, so I won't go into it all, but I might link it later on. Her story of something that happened to her mother, and apparently to her grandmother a decade before, sounded eerily close to something that happened to us back in 1991. Most of the road trip is vague and lost to me, but I've always remembered this tiny town, with a very small population, and I think they were all in the building we walked into, in the hopes of finding a bathroom and some food. It ended up creeping us out (everyone just stared at us, so we got out of there quickly). I didn't know the name of the town, but I may have found it, thanks to this woman's post.

That's weird Teasel. Parallel universe?

Thank you Moonmystic. Yeah, it's been especially hard on teenagers and young people, their social life is everything!

That would be weird! I love soup. Sometimes it is my meals for days. I can put everything I need for a balanced meal in a giant pot. I thankfully don't get 'food boredom', if it's good for me, I can eat it every day! My Virgo Moon appears to rule my stomach

Ah music. So many applications, and the answer to many ills. What oldies are you listening to? (go on, make me feel like a granny )

.

I do too, re soup. You don't grow tired several repeats? Around here 2 nights the blah .. lol Sadly I enjoy the comfort side to it too. No bueno for my physique. Do you like stews too? I've been enjoying refried beans, cabbage and white cheese lately. I used a few chips crunched up with it. Healthy oils. As well, comfort.

Voix_de_la_Mer, I am pretty certain I'm the older of us. I'm a product of the 60s.
The music I usually listen to is an oldies channel. It's from tne national tv channel Metv.com ~ they rolled out a music station and I'm rarely bored. I do go modern too. I'll go to youtube or Spotify then.

Nah, no repetition fatigue when it comes to food, I'm very black and white with it! I do like stews as well, as long as they are vegetarian. Meat makes me feel ill once its in my body, so I avoid it. I do eat fish. I had a friend who was from Uganda and she made this unbelievably beautiful stew from a dried fish that her mother posted to Scotland. Never tasted anything like it since and wish I'd gotten the recipe.

I've never tried refried beans, do you do them in olive oil? Love cabbage, but I have IBS, so it's a REALLY bad idea for me to eat it haha

Hey, I always say that once you're over 30, it's all the same. I was born in the 80s. But I often feel I should have been born in the 60s So much great music and social and spiritual development.

Did you guys see it? You could apparently see the eclipse from US, I think?

Couldn't see the eclipse here, but yeah Moonmystic, when I saw that the sky had went purple on the photo wow. I don't know why it happened, the sky was kinda pinkish.

I hope you are safe from the flooding Moonmystic

Due to my quasi 'Forrest Gump' quality, I have always instantly been accepting to others EVEN those who are condescending and unkind - under handedly. I have that default. I find good in people , even when I'm the butt of their jokes .. well today I thank MoonBeth Because I thought I was being treated poorly by someone here (possibly more! after my energies build - my awareness will sharpen) , MoonBeth confirmed it and my intuition was ignored so long. MoonBeth, if you're here, I wish that I could thank you personally for highlighting how even ones (A certain Flashy character) who come accross as so sweet, can be very unkind to their core.
I seriously will pray for this one but she is no longer anyone I trust.

Greatful my blinders are OFF!

Well read and now intuition is recognized

Voix_de_la_Mer,
I was lucky to be nowhere around flooding. I have a poor sky visibility place I live and quarantine is staunch around us so venturing out is not looked upon as nicely. I miss out seeing alot in the skies. :/ Probably one reason not many outdoorsy types live here anymore either. It didn't used to be as dark.

We get black skies here often. A few stars but some I wonder if they are satellites.
I watch youtube for the events I miss out on.

Voix I hope you are doing very well there.
