I believe that if teachers could read you, they would tell you that although what you say, Chanterelle, is very much appreciated, there is no need to say thank you. It is something that I would liken it to a calling that you have no other choice, but to give yourself into it with every beat of your heart. It is you, parents, that teachers should be thanking for loving and taking care of your children when they are not with them.

My partner. He has bought me some beautiful stones for my jewellery making, some of the nicest I've ever had. I'm too low to make anything at present, but to have them waiting for me to create a piece of jewellery around them, is a light on the horizon.

The owl who has been visiting my area at night and twit-twoo-ing. I never hear owls here unless I have travelled up North, so this feels really special.

I love hearing the geese, but haven't heard them in a while, so it's nice to have the owl. All these animals remind me of all the wonderful diverse life in this world. They bring some comfort and magic in uncertain times.

For dad buying me a cheaper mixer, when I couldn’t make up my mind, last year. I finally made these tonight, but most are going into the freezer.

After a too long BS day: morning work meeting, being bloated and PMSsy wondering why I haven't gotten my period yet, and then getting it today. Taking work home with me, and trying to do wedding planning and my procrastinating family pushing me to my breaking point and trying to help me at the last minute which to me is the opposite of being helpful...

I tune in, to a Rick and Morty episode where they go to a wedding. And Rick did an arsehole toast. It was amusing. Makes me feel a little better.

Being able to go back to doing my hourlong morning walks without masks.

The trick is to get to the park or trail at daybreak, when the few people there at this ungodly hour are maskless athletes or nature lovers, before the masked crowd arrives later.

We smile, nod or greet each other as we cross path. Breathing fresh morning air is awesome!

I used to associate the princess of pentacles with myself, from the Druidcraft tarot. http://www.elitarotstrickingly.com/blog/the-tarot-of-eli-the-druid-craft-tarot-princess-of-pentacles-the-thoth I liked all of them, but I went through a pentacles period.

My dad replaced the old oven, that was old when my parents bought the place in 1998. The door had to be pulled fully shut with a bungee cord, the temperature wasn’t reliable, and some of the numbers were smudged out on the dial. I can’t remember the last time the light worked either. The buzzer didn’t always go off, and at other times, wouldn’t stop buzzing for hours.

This is one of those “you know you’re an adult, when you get excited over a new oven” posts. Just a basic, brand new oven.

For waking up to a wide, blue sky and a bright, warm Sun...Day by day the temperature rises even more...On Holy Saturday the temperature is expected to rise to 32° C, that is 90° F. Tomorrow I'm going to start the preparations for the Easter table, dye eggs and make tsoureki, our traditional Easter sweet bread. And...On Holy Saturday I'm taking a break from the kitchen and definitely going to one of our many nearby beaches for the first swim of the year! Arrangements with friends have already been made! Oh, I can't wait to swim in the cystal clear waters of the sea...And then lie in the hot golden sand...

Cafés, restaurants and bars reopened yesterday and literally everybody is out...I left home after breakfast and didn't return until sunset...Same today...

Summer has arrived and beaches have filled with people...

I'm walking barefoot along the shore. The sun is warming and tanning my skin. I'm smiling...I'm happy...
