So, I recently came across this activity on Youtube and I was blown away by how much I loved watching and listening to it. Seriously. I keep going back  If anyone else loves this, please say! Disclaimer: I am NOT recommending doing this, as you could lose a finger. I love the sound and visual of it though and I am tempted to try it. Not reconciled the waste aspect of it though, unless I start melting and reconstituting soap. And then what? We don't use soap... And does anyone know of any other weird, but relaxing things to watch/do? Soap Cutting

I watch people cook, and I follow people who pour their lattes in slow motion, on instagram. I didn't follow them for that reason, I've just noticed more people doing that. I like to see it all fall together, into patterns. I watch people play video games, and tend to fall asleep to it, if I don't have something else playing. I love watching and listening to Nicholas Fairfold Youtube channel. He is very young, but his voice is so soothing and his demeanor so calm, his style so peaceful and laidback while maintaining a discerning eye for classic beauty and ageless sophisticated style, it really puts me in a enchanted mood whenever I tune in.

I love to read reviews, and “testimonials”. I liked the goal-setting forum, I was a member of for years, because people posted updates on their progress. I like books about personal challenges, like a year of giving up sugar, or the happiness project (although it took away something from that, when I found out the author is really rich, and has endless amounts of money to do whatever she wants to do, but her husband had health challenges, and money can only help so much there - I do understand that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it can give you a certain peace of mind, at least when it comes to owning a home, having your bills paid, etc). I have a radio show. I had to think of a way to market it because it was new and people don't know about it. So I started using the story feature on Facebook and Instagram to make little graphics that play the kind of music I play on my show. All of them have the name of the show and the station it airs on. They have gotten a lot of engagement, which has resulted in more people following my show's page. I really enjoy using different pictures, fonts, colors, and songs to show off the vibe of my show. That's definitely been my creative outlet lately. I like how these stories make radio into something that is also visual. It's really neat in my opinion. IP: Logged |
