People are polite and believe in letting you do you in so many ways, but food is a different story. People in America force food on you to the point where it feels invasive. I'm a polite person (Venus conjunct ascendant) and those interactions have annoyed me since childhood. It's like, get the hint! I'm trying to spare your feelings and not let you know I hate whatever dish you are offering me. Do people not get that certain people have different preferences for what they eat? Do they not realize certain people also have food allergies? When people don't take you up on your offer for good, take the hint. There's a reason they aren't already eating it without you asking half a dozen times, "Did you try my meatloaf?" In the full honesty of my 3rd house Mars and Moon, I f####g hate it.
