IMO, the only answer is a true and sincere relationship with God. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Nessus in my chart has not manifested in how I abuse however where I WAS abused.I have Nessus square Venus in the 4th house at a 1' degree orb. Throughout my childhood until I graduated from high school and physically left, I suffered verbal/physical abuse from my father (along with my mother and sister). As I am Scorpio (A LOT OF SCORPIO), I held a lot of anger, vengeance, and resentment towards my dad. I hated him, "hate" is a strong word and it's being used meaningfully here. It took years of prayer for me to let go of my anger towards my father. Hatred can eat away at a spirit if you allow it to consume you as I did. I still don't like my father and I prefer not to be near him, but I have forgiven him. I will never forget. IP: Logged |

Hi Ami! I have nessus at 20 degrees leo, Mars at 19 degrees leo and Eros at 19 degrees Leo. In the fifth house. I don't get how this works in my life. How do I understand this? I'm not an abusive person, I'm super sensitive (moon conjunct neptune) & (jupiter singleton) injustice upsets me. How would nessus playout? Mars is how a person does things, sexuality, anger. +Eros&nessus? What do you think? IP: Logged |

It may have strong mitigating factors such as a very, empathetic moon, for example. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Nessus can show how you are abused. When I iQ looked at my chart that's one of the 1st things he said to me, how us women with cancer Nessus retrograde always seem to have very painful home lives and usually abuse in the home is done by the ones meant to love and nurture us. IP: Logged |

This is NOT to you,Anemone, just talking lol If you have Pluto in the first ,you are highly Plutonian, strong, forceful, a definite Plutonian/Scorpion presence. Perhaps, Nessus in the 1st gives one the vibe of Nessus. I am thinking that Nessus in the first,in general, would be someone who could be abusive as a natural tendency. I am NOT saying they are. Free will imposes order on all/any of our placements What do you guys think based on your experience ?
I have Nessus in my 1st house, as well. Mine's in Libra (also my ascendant). I've been wondering what this could mean for months. People do find me a little intimidating, especially if my rising sign isn't "on" at a given moment. I always thought that was just because of my Cap stellium or half of my 1st house also being occupied by Scorpio. There's also the rare-ish occasion where a person just feels wary around me or assumes I'm the domineering type. Ironically, I often feel mistreated by these peeps as a result. They just have a militant reaction to me and assume the absolute worst. Even though I'm typically easy-going unless my sense of justice is violated. Honest! Again, Libra rising. This with an Aqua Sun and Pisces Venus. I'm a lover <3. ------------------ Aquarius sun, Libra rising, Capricorn moon. Hot mess. IP: Logged |

The asteroids have to be "doing something" i.e conj the ASC, Sun, Moon etc to be really highlighted for the person, not just "in the house" imo------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

This girl I know. She was treated really bad in high school. They broke her windows in her car. The kids tormented her. I checked her chart. She has nessus on her Ascendent exactly and it squares her venus exactly. It took along time before she would open up & talk to me. And I am Aries rising, in your face with a conversation lol But could the nessus have caused the extreme treatment from her peers? They would all have Nessus around hers and be conjuncting her Asc & squaring her venus as well. IP: Logged |

Oh wow, I never thought of how someone with Nessus touching them so personally, in school everyone's Nessus would also be touching them personally would be affected while in school as a child. Maybe that's a potential setup for why so many with Nessus touching them personally turn aggressive and angry. IP: Logged |

Interesting thread. I've become really interested in astroids lately and I've put Nessus off. I just haven't WANTED to read up on it. My Nessus is in my 5th house. It only makes 2 aspects, sextile moon and trine uranus. I just read a description of Nessus in the 5th and it says that it relates to sexual abuse. Which is weird - I am the one female in my family besides my middle child who hasn't experienced some form of sexual abuse. My eldest daughter was fondled by a friends elderly uncle once and didn't tell me until she was almost 20. WHY?!?! She said she assumed I knew. I'm glad we finally discussed the matter because once I asked her how on earth I could have ever known - it happened at her friend's house when the mom had called the uncle to watch the girls when she had an errand to run. I never had a clue. My sister was molested by our grandfather's brother - whom I spent a TON of time with. I liked him but I had no idea what he was doing to my younger sister when I wasn't around. I was 12 and she was 4. My mother was molested by her stepfather and later almost raped by her step brother. My dad walked in and punched him. My own father apparently had sex with my mom's sister (& her best friend) when he was 23 and she was 13. I am very sexual - in a healthy way, I think. I have a rule that I've been very firm about. No one can get at the bits if they are sleeping around. It's me and only me - or they can move on. Even if I'm not in a "relationship" I demand monogamy in bed. Men think it's weird. A few have walked away, most have agreed. The ones that chafe under the lockdown eventually move on but I can only be with one person at a time and I expect the same thing. Obviously I practce safe(ish) sex. I admit I get a little lax on the protection thing once i am sure we are exclusive. I'm still a little paranoid, even if they "agree" for the first few months unless we are just glued at the hip and evidently a "couple." One thing I read more than once, Jupiter's placement and aspects in my chart tends to result in wording that says something like "Jupiter provides almost angelic protection over your life - be careful not to rest too comfortably in this or you will stagnate" -- whatever it is, I AM protected and I've sensed it since I was quite small. I'm going to read up on Nessus - even though the topic is really uncomfortable. I'm trying to figure out why I'm so uncomfortable with it - maybe I feel a sense of guilt (& gratitude) that so many women I love have been victimized and I have not? IP: Logged |

Though, I have used others obvious sexual interest to my favor. I don't sleep my way to the top - but I am pretty and for whatever reason, men tend to respond to me in a gallant way. I have had my rent paid, cars purchased, bills paid, groceries purchased...but it sounds worse than it is. I'm not a lolita or anything. A good friend of mine is quite wealthy. At first he was romantically interested in me. Since he lives on the West Coast and I live on the East - he insisted on helping me get a better apartment - he offered to pay the difference between my place and a better place. He ended up paying all the rent - for several years. By the time this happened, we were plainly just friends. Earlier this year, I totaled my car. The accident really wasn't my fault but a technicality I was "charged" with the accident. My insurance didn't even cover the total amount owed on my car. I just switched career paths and I couldn't afford to get a new car so I purchased transit passes for myself and my kids. My ex boyfriend's startup sold and he had a big chunk of spare cash. He helped me find a used car and paid for it because, in his words, I couldn't very perform my job without a car. A lot of my job involves going all over town. I'm not sure if that's abuse? Perhaps it can be explained by Jupiter in the 11th? But it is the only thing I can think of that even remotely resembles "abusing" people by way of sex. -- but it's NOT. I swear. I don't ask for these things. They offer and I just say, "Thank you so much!" I don't usually feel guilty about it, but a few friends who have learned about these things have made comments that were a little hurtful. IP: Logged |

Karen, and other posters, please check the other threads on Nessus in this forum. If you dig a little below the surface, you will see he is not really that straightforward. Also remember, asteroid astrology is in its infancy, ESPECIALLY with the lesser known/used asteroids. IP: Logged |

The 12th house hides our motivations to us.It suppresses things so they get turned around in funny ways. They go indirect, you could say. For example, a Mars here could be passive aggressive rather than direct with it's anger. Perhaps,it makes any planet /asteroid here like a planet in it's Fall. I have Mars in Cancer in the Fall and that is how I feel about mine. I have to struggle mightily to express my drives in a direct way,all of them.
Not only do I abuse there(8th house) conjunct Vesta & opposite Eros. I get request for more.! :* ------------------ Seimei, Jupiter Nadir IP: Logged |

Karen You need really close orbs with Nessus for them to count. 3 in a conjunction is really pushing it. You need exact up too 2 degrees, fewer for other aspects. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I just noticed. Juno is conjunct 0.6°. Do asteroid/asteroid conjunctions mean anything? That is off topic re:OP so don't answer if that's not an appropriate question IP: Logged |
