Taking the Deja "theory" to Nessus,do you abuse in the house which holds Nessus.
I know someone with a 12th house Nessus who abuses but does not SEE it.
The 12th house hides our motivations to us.It suppresses things so they get turned around in funny ways.
They go indirect,you could say.
For example, a Mars here could be passive aggressive rather than direct with it's anger.
Perhaps,it makes any planet /asteroid here like a planet in it's Fall.
I have Mars in Cancer in the Fall and that is how I feel about mine.
I have to struggle mightily to express my drives in a direct way,all of them.

erm, ouch! Mine falls in 1st house...what is this supposed to mean??
Lol I also got Eros and Juno in 1st house but thankfully many many degrees apart from Nessus, so no unhappy conjunctions here! :P
Btw, it is NOT in the same sign as my ascendant, just contained in my 1st house...

Well Anemone
I have Nessus in the 7th so I don;t have to admit much cuz people abuse me

This is not funny cuz it is true.
My longest committed relationship was abusive.
Nessus in the 7th would meet abuse on the outside.
However,if one pulled the Nessus in and accepted one's own Nessus, this should stop
If you accept cast -off planets,I think you stop meeting them on the outside.
What do you think?

If we want to add sign, here, that would be another factor.
What could we say about Cardinal, fixed and mutable?
What could be say about Earth,Air,Fire or water?
IQ said an Air sign would abuse verbally so perhaps we can add these things to the discussion, too.

I have nessus in 8th... Does that mean that I either abuse sex (or would that be more likely 5th?) or that I abuse my partner's funds?

Hmmmmmmm
I will have to think about this Aya---good question.
Could you abuse by exploiting another's deep, psychological weaknesses?

LOL! I probably could if I really wanted to, but I don't do such things. Especially because I wouldn't want anyone to do it to me (which has been done quite a lot, actually, come to think of it... )

OK the house where Nessus IS could be he way we WOULD abuse.
It does not mean we do. That would come under free will lol

I still cant comprehend how a 1st house Nessus could/would abuse?
By projecting narcissistic tendencies perhaps? (House of Self)
its also in Earth Sign...

Well Anemone
IF it were conjunct the ASC, your persona would be an abuser lol. I am relating what it does to your persona to have the moon ,Venus or Saturn conjunct the ASC,for example.
It makes you Cancer, Libra or Cap like, respectively.
For a first house placement, I will have to think about it.

Makes sense(well NOT in my case haha!)
It is not conjunct my ASC, just in my 1st House, it is also in a different sign from my ascendant...maybe thas why i dont identify with my Nessus although its prominent in the 1st House...cause I fully intentify with my Firey ASC and Nessus is in an Earth sign, many degrees apart.

Well, Let me relate to people who have Pluto in the 1st.
This is NOT to you,Anemone, just talking lol

If you have Pluto in the first ,you are highly Plutonian, strong, forceful, a definite Plutonian/Scorpion presence.
Perhaps, Nessus in the 1st gives one the vibe of Nessus.
I am thinking that Nessus in the first,in general, would be someone who could be abusive as a natural tendency.
I am NOT saying they are. Free will imposes order on all/any of our placements
What do you guys think based on your experience ?

Well I ve been told I have a commanding 'effect' and regal bearing (thats my Leo ASC lol!)...I always felt the pride/regal thingy comes from Leo/Regulus conjunct in ASC...the sober/commanding effect though ( abit strange to my personality) must have been Nessus...also, a possessive streak perhaps - till now I attributed only to my Taurus Moon. But sometimes my possessiveness would be 'darker' than a Taurus moon could ever bestow...
So its true, planets in 1st really are prominently placed! true to Eros/Juno as well - I look much much younger and give off an innocent persona/vibe - well, I dont know how all these are projected combined though haha~!!

I found out I have Persephone in the 1st house. So, that means I give off a...captive-like vibe? I don't know too much about the asteroids.

Nessus 7th. Like Ami, I suppose that would mean I would be abused in relationships. But as I have not had any long-term romantic or business relationships, I can't really say whether that is the case for me or not.
