http://astrologic.ru/english/Varuna.htm After a thorough analysis, the Russian Author writes this last paragraph: << As I finish these lines, Varuna (in the 9th degree of Cancer) conjuncts the North Node of the Moon (11th degree of Cancer), in exact aspects to Jupiter and Neptune. Eh, it is symbolical? I do not speak any more, that my natal Saturn is exactly in the 9th degree of Cancer, and my Mercury - in the 11th degree... ;-) 4.04.2001, 7:00, Sergiev Posad >> He has mentioned 9 11 twice on April 2001, 5 months before the event, without realizing it. On 9-11, Varuna was conjunct Jupiter exactly. And the position of Varuna was 11 degrees 56 minutes in Cancer. 5+6 = 11. 11:11 And so much for a Jupiter Conjunction bringing good luck always.... Hi lovely young lady Hmmm, I did your lexi once, and I had a feeling you would go in for heavy spiritual topics. For Varuna, type in 20000 in the asteroid box. Right now it is in Cancer 15 degrees or so if I remember right. Yours must be in Cancer sign too. Remember, for asteroids and these new transneptunian aspects, you must consider only 1.5 degree + or minus orb for aspect interpretation as otherwise chart interpretation will become impossible.IP: Logged |

Interesting topic IQH! Reading about this planet was very cool. How did you 'find' it? quote: In the mythology of ancient India Varuna was the god of the all-embracing sky, separating the Cosmos from the Chaos and protecting the people from the Evil. According to Vedic texts, his moral greatness and sanctity far surpass all attributed to any other deity.
So of course I had to go see where the Lord Varuna is in my own chart. It is at 10*Gemini in my 12th house! It makes a nifty Grand Trine with my Sun & Moon, being exactly trine my Sun and just trined my Moon (4*orb). It's also loosly conjunct my Jupiter which is 0*Gemini. What you said above 'And so much for a Jupiter conjunction bringing good luck anyways...' I know you were talking about the transits and not the natal chart, but what do you think of the natal Jupiter conjunct Varuna in the 12th house? I s'pose it must be some part of my expansive (Jupiter) spiritual learning (12th house) Path. There are so many particles out there to 'tap into' and try to get a feel for! ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll :::Libra Sun / 29* Gemini Rising / Aquarius Moon::: IP: Logged |

Hi Hexxie, You sure are alert, you spotted my 666th post! You could be my Astro Sister, I too have Varuna in 10 Gemini! Can I have your exact chart if you dont mind? How did I find this? Well, like how people go on booze binges, I go on Google binges on some topic or the other and try to read every page super fast to scan for something interesting. If so, I save it and read at leisure. This was one such lucky find. I am suddenly getting my weird dreams again. Today, it was very clear. ALmost like some sort of classroom and I am told by a voice that unlike conventionally taught, every part of the face that is eyes, ears, nose, tongue, brain and mouth are ruled by separate planets, even though Aries rules the head. Th spoilsport refused to tell me which planets rule what part though!

Haha Google binges! Saturn at the exact degree and now Varuna! My birth info is: October 2, 1976 at 22:57 (PDT) in Santa Monica, CA (USA). It shall be interesting to see what patterns and/or random things you may notice. Almost all the planets in my natal chart form a (near) perfect trapezoid (cradle), except that Mercury & Sun aspect lines shoot off to trine Jupiter. Something about sacred geometry comes to mind. I'm going through some pretty heavy transits right now too. That sounds like a really great dream! I can see the words from Linda Goodman's Gooberz... You will gain this knowledge at 'The alloted time'. Talk to you soon ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Hi AG! Let me cut and paste together a summary for you: quote: Its period of circulation around the Sun is 285 years. To take advantage of the representation of distant planets as the sublime ideas of seven visible planets, Varuna can be considered as the sublime idea of Jupiter. Varuna relates to such "Jovian" things as praise for oneself and narcissism, wide popularity and, in general, broad expansion of something. It brings forth the egress from usual limits, and in this sense Varuna is related not only with Jupiter, but also with Chiron and Uranus. But unlike Jovian popularity, Varuna represents a more broad and longer glory, promising immortality (or, at least, longevity) in the national memory.Another side of Varuna's manifestations also corresponds with Jupiter: that is his connection with the law, justice, equity - however, equity not human, but supreme, law not planetary, but cosmic. There is still one side of the manifestations of Varuna, which rather correlates with Uranus and Pluto. It is allied to its role as a boundary planet (the separation of the Cosmos from the Chaos). New matters, before unknown ideas and problems producing global effect, new scopes of knowledge and difficulties connected with reclamation of the unknown - dawns through Varuna.

Hi Hexxie, Some analysis from your chart:Psyche conjuncts Atlantis. Pallas is perfectly Squared by the True Node. Challenge from Destiny to master inner wisdom? You are doing a great job of doing that True Node Scorpio is about fulfilling self transformation, knowledge of regeneration, purpose of sex and sensing the immensity of immortality. [Zala has posted more pointers on this from Jan Spiller's book on Nodes] Uranus sq Pallas = Challenge to develop sudden flashing insights of wisdom. Sun conj Pluto in Libra = Passionate in Balancing Personality. Varuna trines Sun/Pluto perfectly. However, only Saturn opposes Moon and no Moon-Pallas aspect either. This means you are not as much psychic as you are intellectual/inteligent/knowledgeable and open to any new idea. But you definitely will have a well developed sixth sense or precognition because of Uranus in Scorpio. I am not sure about the Venus in Scorp in this regard. Pholus in Pisces also augurs well for developing Piscean gifts. However, Chiron opposed True Node, Chiron sq Pallas, Chiron NOVILE Varuna and Chiron trine Psyche/Atlantis will reveal more about your para normal gifts. I am not too strong in that yet but since we have the aspects now, we can investigate further. PS. As per your chart, I figured you will be very beautiful. Then I saw your picture, am happy to say astrology works so well

IQH~ Thank you for taking the time to look at my chart and give an analysis! A few other things I noticed about my chart after reading over what you said. I'm not sure of the meaning of the following yet, but I never discount the things I write out in my lists: Not only is my Sun conj Pluto, but my Uranus is conj Venus. I've got Pluto & Venus in mutual reception in the 4 & 5th houses. Varuna trines Sun/Pluto but also Trines my Moon making an obscure air grand trine in the watery houses. Saturn opposite Moon, 2nd & 8th houses...tug-o-war for the balance. Need I say more?! Especially right now since transiting Saturn is close to my (our!) natal Saturn. Not psychic... no I guess that isn't the word i'd choose for myself. I'll have to think on what would be the right name. I'm not sure I fit into any 1 known man-made catagory for my 'gifts'. Wow Pholus is right up there on my MC. Wonder what this means? I've had a tough time trying to figure out 'what I wanna be when I grow up'. Pisces MC and then natal Neptune in Sagi is squaring MC. Hoping that Pholus will lend a helping hand rather than add to the haziness. Oooo I also noticed that I almosthave a Yod with natal Saturn quincunx Pholus & natal Sun/Pluto quincunx MC. It dosen't quite connect, but I feel like meditating on this nevertheless. Chiron... I have a ton of Chiron oppositions. I'd be here all night if I typed them all out hehe! Lots of healing this lifetime. Did you say that UB313 was in Aries? If so what degree is it? I couldn't find the code to enter it on astro.com. I was thinking that I might have another obscure grand trine, but with the element fire and in earthy houses (Saturn in Leo, Neptune in Sagi, & UB313 in Aries?) Oh, and thank you for the kind words. I thank my parents for making me a nice vehicle to drive around in for awhile hehe. I can only take a little bit of credit for 'temporary temple maintenance'. OK time for sleep! When I look back at this tomorrow I hope it is a cohesive group of words Thx again! ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Hey Hexxie, May I suggest you make your temple a permanent one by experimenting with immortality Well, I looked at mainly the psychic aspects so I did not focus on the other aspects you mentioned. But it is intriguing, the Pluto/Venus part, the Uranus conjunction and all the Chiron! I will look more into Pholus. Plus I am studying Isis, Osiris, Horus, Atlantis and Karma asteroids. I feel asteroid transits and their aspects to centaurs/big planets could be the next big thing in astrology, because humanity is evolving beyond the personal planets. IP: Logged |

Greetings!I decided to look at the other asteroids you posted. I noticed a LOT of conjunctions along with a couple oppositions that stood out for me. Maybe you could help with an interpretation? I've got: Psyche exactly conj Atlantis, 3rd house Siva exactly opposed both, 9th house Saturn exactly conj Isis, 2nd/3rd house cusp Moon exactly opposed both 8th house (almost 9th!) Merlin (12th house) conj Asc (1*orb) Pholus (10th house) conj MC (2*orb) Venus exactly conj Karma, 5th house Uranus conj Karma (3*orb), 5th house Pallas conj Anubis (3*orb), 2nd house Thanks for your help! It's very interesting ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Hi Hexxie, I think I am having asteroids floating inside my head right now The big picture is looking, well, just awesome. There is something very powerful about a Myth, the mental energy people give to that myth and the effect of naming any object revolving around the sun with this myth on a natal chart. If we are fascinated by a subject, a philosophy or a personality or culture, then it is very likely that an asteroid bearing that name is favorably and tightly aspected to our personal planets. And vice versa. In my own chart, the Asteroid ARABIA, the country of my birth, part of my race and origin of my family religion, this asteroid is PRECISELY OPPOSITE the Asteroid KARMA. Is that why I had to painfully break away from Islam, Arabs, their philosophies? For seeking balance? When Asteroid Karma transited my natal true node, I lost all my savings money, all of it, in one week, and made it back a month later after the transit. Sort of like a Karmic re-allocation of funds from one channel to another. I have been fascinated by the Pyramids, Mummies, Hieroglyphics and so on since childhood. My first house is Aries. The asteroid present in 0 degrees Aries happens to be SPHINX. As if to initiate my life to these mysteries, just as it guards the Pyramid in Giza! ACHILLES conjuncts Saturn in Leo. Am I to be a failed Hero? ISIS and OSIRIS conjunct exactly in 27 degrees Leo. Is my the Yin-Yang are balanced? Why am I boring you with my chart? Because I now have to take a much closer look at yours. I think there is some more. About 40 mythological asteroids seem significant and then we can see what other hidden secrets lie in your chart. For now, my interpretations are: Psyche exactly conj Atlantis, 3rd house Greast potential for perfecting Intuitive Wisdom relating to Atlantean topics which are huge power without responsibility, crystals, technology of advanced communication. Siva exactly opposed both, 9th house All women are considered embodiments of Goddess Parvati or Shakti, the consort of Siva. Siva opposing Atlantis/Psyche means you are challenged to balance the masculine aspects of intuitive wisdom relating to Advanced Tech and Power. Will you be aggressive/competetive/egotistical if you develop insight? Or will you retain feminine compassion, maternal instinct and nurturing of others after gaining these special insights? What will your ideals be? Saturn exactly conj Isis, 2nd/3rd house cusp Your Goddess powers are highly restricted. You will grow into realizing your feminine divinity step by step in the long term. Moon exactly opposed both 8th house (almost 9th!) Powerful Emotions and subconscious energy will drive you to realizing your divine goddess potential. Watch out for particular Lunar phases that will trigger learning. Keep a diary, you might be amazed at corelating an incident month after Lunar month that adds to your learning. Merlin (12th house) conj Asc (1*orb) HIdden talent or desire for practical/manifestation magic is part of your personality. Or a magical personality Pholus (10th house) conj MC (2*orb) Still weak on Pholus Venus exactly conj Karma, 5th house Destined to easily balance and enjoy your Feminine powers, beauty, grace and all feminine treasures. Are you not exquisitely beautiful? You probably have no idea, you will cause even super strong willed men like me a few nervous jitters if we are to meet. Believe it! It is in your chart Uranus conj Karma (3*orb), 5th house Destined to get flashes of insight and interest in various kinds of new and exciting knowledge. Pallas conj Anubis (3*orb), 2nd house Pallas to me represents the Third Eye or Pineal Gland or Inner Wisdom with respect to chi flow. Anubis is the son of Osiris, the god who leads the dead to the ELysian Fields, the guardian of the body of Osiris, the god of the funeral chamber. The Messenger of Osiris. You might get true wisdom about afterlife with respect to the romance of souls and so on. Or a romance with the true knowledge of afterlife will be easy for you. I also have to check out your Osiris, Sekhmet, Ceres, Vesta, Juno, Sphinx, Varuna, Achilles, Apollo, Demeter, Musa (The Muses), America, Ptah, Horus, Pandora, Hypatia and Chaos.
