"Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.

"Named in honor of Carl G. Sauer, Jr., a principal flight mechanics engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Since 1952, when he began work at JPL, Carl has been a leader in the development of the analysis tools used for designing the ballistic and low-thrust spacecraft missions that explore the solar system. His work has included mission designs for advanced spacecraft propulsion systems, including solar electric ion propulsion, nuclear propulsion and solar sailing. Well, it is a lifetime study, but one has to start somewhere. I will see if I can give you, at least some info, on your asteroid list.
With Astrology, one must stick with it, as it seems impossible, in the beginning. However, it is almost as if it is a Hero's journey and you will only be rewarded by patience and stick to it-ness! xxxx

As a side note, this website made my chart different, I'm very tired so maybe I made an error (I triple checked but it's still possible). However, I found that my moon sign is now in Cancer (29th degree) in the 12th house. My moon is in cancer in Vedic astrology and I really identify with that. My houses are also all different as well. Like leo is supposedly my ASC and my MC is now Taurus. This is too weird!
