By amiann | Published: February 8, 2012 Cupido is an interesting one. It draws people to itself, as does Eros. The person with Cupido conjunct the Ascendant is very attractive, in a way that few can resist. However, Cupido has a different slant than Eros. Eros is pure eroticism. Cupido uses it’s native eroticism as a player; to draw people to himself . However, his own heart is not involved, although it LOOKS as it is. Cupido is the look of love, without actual love. That is why it is one of the major “player” asteroids. As with all asteroids and planets, anything conjunct the ASC is more visible to the outside world. One, also, uses this asteroid as a way to navigate life versus having the asteroid in a deeper place such as one’s ego or deepest heart, the Sun and the moon, respectively. Brittany Spears song tells the story better than any words I could say:

Cupido conjunct ASC, the look of love...Someone said to me once, "You radiate love." I wasn't aware of it, but it does come across in some pics. It is something that comes from within. Like the look of a happy bride or groom on their wedding day. I'm not a player, even with Lust on my Sun, but I do have other things conjunct the ASC. Ami Anne, your site is beautiful! IP: Logged |

Hi all,What do you think about having Sun/Venus/Cupido/Eros/Psyche all in Leo? Btw, a guy has Eros on my Asc, but also conjuncting my Pallas. My Saturn on his Cupido, my Angel on his Nessus...wonder if it means I am pouring cold/icy water all over his libido  IP: Logged |

I have Cupido 10 deg in Aquarius house 9.It trines my Asc.
Hmmm!!....! I tend to see through Aquarius Men though. Very attracted to Aqua Men at first...but the ones I know are obvious players to me, or shaddy and trying to have me be the other woman. Or the ones I know I can tell they only want to be in a relationship for the sex. Like I can just tell they are a hump and dump kind of guy.
