That's true for me as well! I found out I have Valentine closely conjunct my venus and I think it affects my venus a lot!

Well Pluto is not a planet, not that big and discovered not that long ago and it ended been pretty powerful and you cannot research asteroids if you don't check up on them and the transits involving them so us coming to the asteroid section is one way we can research them and give them attention.I do feel some asteroids for me have proven to hold their weight like JUNO, PHOLUS, CHIRON, KARMA and ELATUS to name a few, I have seeing them in action via transit many times play out in a significant way, even EROS and PSYCHE. One time I had transit EROS and PSYCHE right on my sun exact and my husband who has a pretty low sex drive was just all of a sudden completely relentless just wanted to be with so bad like in a way I have never seeing him get before and I have been with hi, for a very long time, his JUNO conjuncts my SUN by 1 degree so EROS and PSYCHE were also on his JUNO and he has JUNO conjunct JUPITER in the 5th house so there you have it. ^^you notice transits like that and it gives you confidence on the asteroids. Checking asteriods on your nodes can often be very revealing. When Transit pholus was on my southnode and transit Chaos was on my northnode my life was completely flipped upside down. Again you start paying attention and you realize there is something to them for sure. IP: Logged |

From an astrological perspective, Pluto will always be a planet (and the most powerful one, according to Linda), and I've heard it is now officially a planet again. From a scientific perspective, Pluto has moons, oceans, and an atmosphere containing organic compounds similar to the characteristics of other planets. It has five moons, a vast underground ocean (that may contain life), and even clouds. It is far from being a frozen, lifeless rock hurtling through space. It also orbits our sun, so there's that. However, it is small, so size doesn't matter.IP: Logged |

I believe with asteroids, you get as much as you give. So if you don't believe in them, then they won't reveal themselves to you. But, if you do put stock into their meaning, they will blow your mind. I do believe that they elaborate on already existing aspects between major planets in the chart and the orbs have to be super tight. There has to be a major planet influence first, you can't just go straight to asteroids to explain things. It's sort of like the major planets are the main ingredients in the dish, and the asteroids are the sauce, spice or herbs that flavor it. IP: Logged |

To answer the original question: I don't put so much faith in asteroids as I see them as a tuning knob (like on a cello). To put it another way, they're like the knobs on an old-school tv that controlled the clarity of the picture. I believe they provide more specificity - sometimes people have questions that the main players in the chart only broadly answer. Asteroids allow us to zoom in.------------------ "To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." -e.e. cummings IP: Logged |
