Grrh Windows H8 or Failfox making my tabs disappear when just try to move them. Insert whatever I can still remember about saying I only today realized that I was doing a Dionysus-theme already when I posted about Alan Cumming's asteroids a week or so ago.
A's Semele (opp their Valentine is) 2 conj B's Dionysus-NN.
B has Semele (1 conj their Sun) on A's ASC.
Semele was the mortal mother of D. The trip to the underworld and bringing back the dead seems to be in part about either his mother Semele or Ariadne both. Dionysus' influence lifts both up into Olympos or among the gods, dead or not. Hermes is listed as a helper in stories about Dionysos' younger days and there is even mention of a nymph called Philia among his caretakers, but I doubt the 280 Philia that ties to other things necessarily relates to anything here.
A however has Philia conj ASC. B's Sun is 3 conj B!Philia (conj possible VX by 1). Philias 3 degrees conjunct.
"On the one hand, Dionysus was the god of wine, agriculture, and fertility of nature, who is also the patron god of the Greek stage. On the other hand, Dionysus also represents the outstanding features of mystery religions, such as those practiced at Eleusis: ecstasy, personal delivery from the daily world through physical or spiritual intoxication, and initiation into secret rites."
"The festival for Dionysus is in the spring when the leaves begin to reappear on the vine. It became one of the most important events of the year. It's focus became the theater. Most of the great greek plays were initially written to be performed at the feast of Dionysus. All who took part writers, actors, spectators were regarded as sacred servants of Dionysus during the festival."
I'd have thought that Apollo/n would have more to do with the theatre, but I stand corrected then. It explains a lot, actually, and fits in.
There's also the fact that it's women he "compels to leave their houses" or who go crazy or frenzied and all that. If you're female and run into him, you're likely to get influenced? Earlier times the Graces were his companions, so hello Aglaja to Keela again on that front.
I also find it interesting that Aura is listed among Dionysus' "loves" when B has Aura conj Semele conj their Sun. A less admirable outcome or actions by him with all that, but it's on the list. Oh boy creating "phalloi", too.

Above and other places there talk of Liber as an epithet/name for Dionysus, so I checked. 771 Libera is 1 conj B's Dionysus-NN so it may have some bearing through asteroids apparently just being freaky like that.
