What is the general meaning of Aphrodite in synastry? Is it a lot like another version of Venus?And how would you interpret these two aspects: - Her Aphrodite conjunct his Sun

I view Aphrodite more along the lines of beauty and attraction.
Aphrodite conjunct the sun is more about finding one another very beautiful and sexually stimulating. His aphrodite conjunct her chiron is more about his view of her beauty whether it be her physical beauty or inner beauty healing whatever unhealed wounds she may possess. IP: Logged |

Asteroids aren't definite, at least with their reception to one side or the other. My Aphrodite was conjunct one of my friend's sun and I thought he was beautiful, the attributed sexual attraction was from my Aphrodite being located in my 5th house. IP: Logged |

I agree, too.Aphrodite wasn`t the goddess of love as in the way we understand it today, but more relating to beauty, attraction, sensuality and pleasures (oh and no to forget, quite manipulative, vain and quite nasty when she got jealous; just remember what she tried to do to Psyche!) IP: Logged |

I had this with my guy friend, when I saw him his face was enough to capture my heart <3 im really shy around guys but we kinda just started talking and he obviously thought I was really pretty. Being the Aphrodite, I definetly felt I was attractive and desired around him  <3 IP: Logged |

with my most interesting boy so far in my life:my Aphrodite conjunct his Psyche
his Aphrodite conjunct my Eros/Venus his Eros conjunct my Psyche I mean, looking at the myth this seems like somewhat of a HORRIBLE placement, but in our overall synastry, there is a bit of an asteroid pattern that would lead me to believe I have the potential to hurt him a lot  ( (my nessus conjunct his sun, for example) There is an INSANE amount of palpable love whenever we are near each other, though, more than any other person I've ever met (the closest being someone I had a NN-Venus/SN-Venus conjunction with) It's hard to say what role his Aphrodite has played seeing as it is conjunct his Saturn/Juno natally.. but I have the Saturn/Juno conjunct my Venus/Eros with other guys born that year and I would say the Aphrodite contact adds some intense amorous feelings to the kind of sexy/serious Saturn/Juno vibes. It is very interesting to me that we have the three conjunctions relating to this myth, because I do feel that we have that magic together, but both need to work on a lot to sort of prove ourselves worthy of that pure love (if that makes any sense).. it's almost like we are both playing different roles of the myth simultaneously. My Aphrodite is conjunct my bf's Sun. His Aphrodite is conjunct my NN. I certainly wasn't physically attracted to him at first. He admits that he's really not that handsome, but there was something about the way he spoke and the way he carried himself that was terribly charming. I fell for it. IP: Logged |

Does anyone know if Aphrodite conjunct ascendant by 8 degrees also conjunct pluto by 3 degrees - would make a girl lovely? I hope it softens that pluto.IP: Logged |
