But where exactly is it? I was stumbling across the net and saw different answers! Ones say it's 1 Libra, others - it's 2. So - where? IP: Logged |

I had the same dilemma in finding it Aeline... some sources were saying it was in the final degree of Virgo 29 to o Libra... which is about right, but then again... we want the exact degrees! haha ultimately, I did not find a conclusive answer! ~ it seems to be between 0 and 2 Librathis is one site mentioning its whereabouts~ SGC and here... SGC and one more... the best page of them all I think... SGC I go by 2deg Libra~ ^^; In which case - Atlantis is pretty much all I have there.

If you go to Serennu Astrology Ephemeris http://serennu.com/astrology/ephemeris.php?insort=declong&z=t&addobj=&inlo=&inla=&h= P&gh=g you'll see that for today, M-87 is located (Tropical) at 1 LIBRA 7'11"If you put your own birthdata there it will calculate where M87 was on the day you were born. (Use birthdate calculation and time from free chart at Astrodienst... astro.com) I found this article called "The Super Galactic Center" by Philip Sedgwick. I'll post the url... and not contents because the article is 'copyrighted' and I wouldn't want to infringe on his work. But I think his thoughts are interesting... What I do is choose "Sort by zodiac 360 degrees" --- then, scroll from Aries down to Libra... you'll find it there.
Thanks! Seems it just shows the position where it is now, not in the past, lol. But anyway, it seems i have Angel conjunct SGC by half a minute, lol IP: Logged |

<edited> ... I'm always hoping that maybe someone reading [here] will actually trip on some treasure... that maybe they'll discover what a GIFT astrology can be to their own self-understanding, and how incredibly helpful the material can be to relationships: with self, with family, with the world we live in. I believe we can work to make this a better world. I yearn for it to move in that direction. It begins with self to Self. . . . People who stumble onto a serious study of astrology will hold the Universe in their hands... The world. Our world. Our lesson is love and Love. __________ edited 2013jan10 IP: Logged |

Yes, I see now how heavy his language could be! sorrry about that... Please let me quote what he says in the final paragraph... "...those directly involved with Super Galactic Center become directly involved as a central force of healing in the lives of unimaginable numbers of people..." "Imagine what you would be if you were all that you really are." Perhaps Linda Goodman's views shed light that we are the director of our lives, through the help and guidance of the planets... and that LOVE governs all. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the link to the Philip Sedgwick article, Mirage. I'd forgotten all about his piece. I read it a couple of years back when I first found out that the SGC existed. I'd never even heard of it til then and even now whenever I see it written as 'SGC' I think 'Stargate Command' I'm never really one to shy away from heavy, so 'wordy' would perhaps be my biggest complaint with P.S's writing style. I find myself wanting to shout 'Get to the point!' when I'm only a couple of paragraphs in, but then as a Gemini myself it has been pointed out to me, on more than one occasion, that I have the attention span of a drunken gnat!! Still none the wiser as to what Pluto conjunct SGC means for me, though the healing and union with self aspect mentioned by P.S. ('get inside yourself and deal with the good that it is you') has been something of a theme for me for the past few years... or some other such 'heavy' stuff I guess it's going to take more than a quick skim read and a consideration of all the other aspects to figure it out. How close should the aspects to the SGC be? The closest I think I have is like a 6* conjunction to my moon, which seems kind of wide to me...IP: Logged |

i wouldn't consider much wider than 1-1,5 degree! 6 degree would be much too much.

Yeah, that struck me as VERY wide for something like this! 1-1.5 sounds much more reasonable. IP: Logged |

Look at some meaningful asteroids if you think it reasons with you? I did so, so it turned out my clutch of asteroids is there, Angel too. IP: Logged |

It's interesting how my nephew's and niece's charts have an exact conjunction of their Moon to this SGC! They both from the childhood are fascinated with paranormal and stuff that is outside average human perception. IP: Logged |

Mirage, I for one have enjoyed that Sedgwick article in the past. ...You are reading my mind (and of course, we are in tune on that Sag and Mercury level, my friend) about some of the posts here recently. Ugh. (..Alas, as we know, there really is no *moderation* going on at this place. ) That energy is seeping over here, from LL 2 and other areas, I notice. ...I was wondering if it was me--as I so don't relate to the manner in which many people regularly interact on some parts of this site--yes, the overt sex talk. It makes me feel like a foreigner...and rather sad, that this is the direction things are going in. "Something for everyone here," and all that jazz, but still...isn't it still classy to leave something to the imagination? Ah well, at least I know it's not only me feeling gobsmacked around here. ... Call me a snob, but we belong in a classier era, dance partner. ...Sorry OP. Back to SGC: I have it conjunct Pluto (<1) as well--obviously a generational influence and maybe not noticeable, though I did find resonance for myself in some bits of the Sedgwick article. However, I'm hesitant to agree if it is necessarily the influence of SGC that projects all those qualities he writes of. I feel those could be ascribed to other influences, perhaps...or just one's general "soul age?"

It's for me as well! Not for a moment i thought of anything sexual going on with this SGC thing... It's only energy i've been feeling and thinking!
