This page provides links to REFERENCE THREADS for some key asteroids. These threads bring together explanations and interpretations of aspects previously posted on LL. Not all aspects have been covered of course, and the lists will continue to grow as more get discussed. The reference threads took much time and effort and we hope to keep these solely for recording interpretations of aspects rather than discussion. There are, however, discussion threads for your comments, questions and contributions. Links given below. We hope you find these useful. ATLANTIS ATLANTIS - discussion
DNA DNA – discussion
THE FEMALE FAMILY OF JUPITER --- Ceres, Juno, Pallas, Vesta
THE GOOD ASTEROIDS --- Spirit, Logos, Knight, Angel, Excalibur, Wisdom, Hermes, Horus, Samadhi, Aura
KAALI KAALI -discussion
KARMA KARMA – discussion

Has anyone thought about starting a new reference forum similar to Brown Owl School, or adding these reference threads there to Briwn Owl for easy access?IP: Logged |

Another suggestion. ... You may want to close the Ref. threads so nobody adds comments to them, perhaps adding a numbered sequence of new reference threads to continue the work compiling posts that were missed. I know, keeping track can become confusing. The point of a forum, though, is to interact and read contributions from members on a continuous basis. In Brown Owl you could begin a thread with the words "REFERENCE:" in caps and then the heading of the reference topic similar to the other posts, or the word ASTEROIDS: to indicate the forum from which it comes. Great acknowledgement goes out to those who compiled this info for learning purposes. This is a wonderful contribution and useful resource. I know I am grateful for all your time-consuming and investigative work.

Hi PS,My thoughts exactly. I started a discussion on this a while ago. See here - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/001711.html Ail suggested that we leave the threads in the asteroid forum and bump them up every now and then. But I don't think that is working well. It also leaves a long trail of 'bumps'at the end of each thread, which then a moderator needs to delete. Could you please, if you're able to? Perhaps it would be a good idea now to add these to brown owl school. Again only a moderator can establish a new thread there. So how do we go about it? IP: Logged |

I can only moderate Quirky Cuisine forum posts. Sorry. I understand how beneficial all of your hours of searching and compiling would be if there was even easier access. It saves all of us a lot of search engine time to have to only search the words "REFERENCE THREAD", though. This is of much benefit.IP: Logged |

I followed your link, AK, and bumped it up. Sorry I didn't see that discussion first. You spent a whole year compiling. Thanks. IP: Logged |

In the Brown Owl, people respond, too, so that would not change that. I hope I am understanding the question, though.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Hi Ami Anne,Thank you for responding quickly. The question is: Do you think it's a good idea to transfer the asteroid reference threads to Brown Owl School? The second concern is how do I go about doing that. I would probably have to ask Randall to start the threads for me. Or find a direct way of doing it. With regard to closing these threads to discussion, if that is not possible, the first couple of pages, which are the reference part, can still be updated and stay intact. They would still be more accessible in Brown Owl than here. @ Gabby, any thoughts on this? EDIT: Another consideration: Moderators who begin threads in Brown Owl are very knowledgeable about their topics, and they can respond to queries. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to do that - my role is that of a magpie - collecting useful bits together and displaying in an organised fashion. IP: Logged |

in my opinion, I don't see how it would help to transfer them because people would still comment and so they would not stay reference threads. However, maybe Randall has another idea.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yes, Brown Owl is for teaching and threads should be open for discussion. The reference threads probably would not fit there too well, after all. I was just thinking of how nice it would be to keep this info at our fingertips, so to speak, but Brown Owl is becoming a busy forum as well. I guess the best idea is to just inform members that they can goggle "lindaland forum reference thread" and always be able to find these gems. The best solution may be to add links for new furure reference threads to this one thread. By editing the above post the future links won't get scattered. Bumping each thread up for visibility does work but can get tedious. Bumping this one thread with all the future links added in would simplify things.
