I have Hypnos @ 29.33 Cancer trine Discovery @ 29.33 Scorpio. Now this has gotta be significant. Discovery also conjuncts Paradise (29.32) exact. Can I deduce from this that I will receive spiritual truths through dreams which will result in great joy, as any enlightened state would? If this is correct, then I wonder when. IP: Logged

"Paradise" is an artificial Astral Construct, so there is no guarantee of actual joy from the facts you discover. In my case, it made personal relationships borderline impossible. Just for some background, I have: * IC conjunct REIKI, MERLIN, RUDRA, and CIRCE in Pisces (IC also conjunct Fomalhaut, orb 3). * DESC conjunct ATLANTIS and ISIS in Taurus. * Sun conjunct BUDA, ANGEL, and BLESS in Aquarius. * North Node conjunct DISCOVERY In Scorpio. Also both wide conjunction ASC (orb 5 and 6) * South Node wide conjunction WISDOM (orb 5). Also DISCOVERY wide opposition WISDOM, orb 6) * Mercury conjunct SIVA and DNA in Capricorn. * Venus conjunct PARVATI in Capricorn (SIVA-PARVATI are 9� away) * Neptune conjunct BABYLON in House 1, Sagittarius (also conj the Great Attractor). * Midheaven conjunction AETERNITAS and wide conjunction SPHINX in Virgo (orb 5) * Mars conjunct UR and GIZA in Gemini And these are only the conjunctions. For instance my Uranus in 12th perfectly trines IC, REIKI, MERLIN, RUDRA, and CIRCE, which are squared by KAALI and PSYCHE. And on and on. The bottom line is that I don't even need to be asleep to know what someone else feels, even if that person is thousands of miles away. Unfortunately this scared every man I dared to confessed into (and the others who didn't know were freaked out by my "intuition" as they called it). Plus, other people's negative emotions affect me horribly. I try to channel everything into something creative, but it doesn't feel like a gift all. Honestly it feels like a curse. So, I'm curious, how do you folks deal with it? P.S. I should have probably given you an example. When I was 18 my mother killed herself. For a week before this, I could think only about books/movies in which people committed suicide, although at that time I was the happiest girl. I don't know whether it was a premonition or I simply "read" my mother's emotions. What matters is that for the next 15 years I accused myself of not preventing her from committing suicide: 15 years of recurring nightmares in which I would stop her from jumping. You have amazing aspects, which for you have had awful repercussions: you blamed yourself for not being able to prevent your mother's death. It seems as if you needed spiritual support and advice from other psychics and/or mentor at the time. The point is that your abilities were not revealing enough about the situation precisely because you were not meant to intervene. The choice was your mother's - in her desperation she could not have been comforted by you, had you tried. I have read often about empaths who hurt terribly as they sense the suffering of people. The answer must lie in your own spiritual development - a sense of the constancy of spirit through all the trials it endures would give you strength. IP: Logged

I mentioned that story with my mother more to exemplify the negative consequences of such a skill/gift. I'm in a much better place now about her: 3 years ago something happened that made me understand how nothing I could have said or done would have changed her decision/fate. I guess I was thinking more about my difficulty to find romantic partners who can accept me for what I am. Anyways, nowadays I direct my skills and energy into something creative (I'm a writer, or at least I try to break into that industry; understanding others' emotions comes very handy for such a job). I like to think that whatever knowledge I might have in me or garnered over time, I can pass it away through my work. IP: Logged

PALLAS in 1st house in the sign of Pisces, conjunct ANTIVERTEX (0 degrees exact). JUPITER in 8th house. EROS & PTAH conjunct my Aquarius ASCENDANT by 0 degrees. LILITH and CIRCE also in my 1st house.
