Probably depends on whether they touch anything else in your chart? And will influence who really pushes your DC buttons I reckon.

You project the asteroid that conjuncts your DSC onto others, not that I do that with Eris or nuthin

Lol no never. It must be even harder not to project when it squares your moon and is being squared by Pluto currently, eh? However consciousness and working with DC/7th planets can overcome the projection and own those energies.

But, seriously, as in Ami's case, it will usually take someone else's connection to that asteroid to "hook" it somehow before you project onto THEM...as with Eris, which moves very slowly, that will often be a large group of people around the same age. With Eris, a period of years, with other, faster moving objects, a briefer window but still anyone whose own asteroid is in the same or very near degree...or who has a planet that conjuncts it.

My husband's Venus is for instance 1* from my Camelot which is very close to DC. Even though we are separated years ago, we still are very much at home together, but only when in the same place which is rarely..

I suppose that when we have asteroids on DC, with someone else's planets conjunct our DC we tend to see them related to the asteroid themes. For example, my husband has Destinn, Valentine, Union and maybe a few something more on the DC, and my AC conjunct his DC, and he probably see me as the destined partner for him.
