Personally I have found there weren't many harsh Neptune connections i.e. Conjunctions, Oppositions, or squares that I would initially except for in one of the two cases:

That was my hypothesis as well.

Though if strongly configured to the angles, it might be pulled into the consciousness, given the appropriate triggers (transits).

I still think though it really was Selene who is part of the couple.

I mean there are SO many Moon goddesses, and Artemis and Diana really were virginal (even in modern sense) goddesses. Certainly not interested in intimate relationships, so it doesn´t feel quite right using them as part of the pair, no matter how much Endymion is conjunct Artemis inm y chart.

Many things in my life have come to me in dreams. The one i felt so drawn to and he as well, not even in romantic or sexual level. Just drawn to each other. I still see him in my dreams from time to time, although we keep in touch just a few times a year. We did share an exact Moon - SN conjunction though. The other way around it was an exact Sun - NN square. That may add.
