My dad is a Leo, Libra Rising....a perpetual child. I love him, I really do... but he's such a dope. It's charming in a lot of ways, because he's just so unaware of what other people think and is always really optimistic/positive (I got the optimism/positivity from him at least!). AND, keeping topic with the main thread-- I have Eros conjunct Libra Ascendant. I'd say I'm a bit vain... I'm pretty shy and keep a lot hidden (12th house stellium) so I don't think the sultry comes across, people tend to see innocence/cuteness.IP: Logged |

VENUS-MADHATTER=ASC, 0°.I have a decidedly feminine but anachronistic vibe. I'm understated; not masculine, but not at all 'girly' either. I definitely register as a bit eccentric, but strangely charming for all my misanthropy. But I also have KALYPSO rising, 'that which is concealed or hidden'. Got that right. I'm very private, even though my showwoman personality is a complete 180°. I've been known to suddenly flip the charisma switch and portray myself however desired. Not sure what does that. PLUTO parallel my ASC has always given me a dark, intimidating presence -- despite my being a 5'3" waif of a woman who might win the 'nerdiest chick in the room' contest, depending upon who's playing. But then I shock myself with my innate chameleonic ability. I really can portray just about anything with ease. That oddly extends to my daily life and general personality. I've discovered two asteroids conjunct my Asc:
Moira and Balakrishnan (16116).Moira ties in with my Sun conjunct Karma - a highly fated life. Balakrishnan, on the other hand, may confer attractive qualities. It means the child Krishna (incarnattion of Vishnu) - renowned for his loveable charm and playfulness. That could translate into youthfulness in appearance or a youthful optimism in one's approach to life. I would like to thing I have the latter. Interestingly, my SM also has Balakrishnan conjunct his Asc, which gives us a composite Balakrishnan conj Asc as well. EUROPA (52) - sacred bull, master of material world, gave rise to the Taurus constellation
AC
DALLAS (8084) - cue 80's theme, big hair, and copious bling
AMOR (1221) - love in all its forms, equivalent to EROS, romantic feelings
NARCISSUS (37117) - HAHAHAHA, self-image, self-critical analysis, confidence, pride
SOUTH NODEAC sabian: "A Barometer", can change to suit the atmosphere As for parallels of the major bodies, my SN & MERCURY are parallel. MERCURY sits on my MC, and rules 5/8H. AC ruler URANUS is conjunct MC, too. The crowd parts for me, and folks (especially guys) skitter away, for some reason that I have yet to identify. I think I exude that unpleasant NARCISSUS-AMOR vibe, which makes people perceive me as haughty. In youth, I was painfully shy (CHIRON in 3H, house of school friends), but a bit of a know-it-all. I found more on my AC thanks to Cappy, Micromegas! Also Antiope, an Amazon woman and Micromegas, an Alien!
More to add to the odd asteroids conjunct within a few degrees of my Pluto on my AC...
Sado, Discovery, Einstein, Deprez, Brahma, Bella, Young, Karma, Urda, Antiope and Micromegas...

I have asteroid lilith (1181) conjunct NN in Aquarius and trine my sun/circe

I have aphrodite conjunct the ascendant (orb 2) and conjunct my south node(orb 2). I wouldn't say i'm pretty.But i've read the intepretation for Aphrodite conjunct ascendant and it rings true for me.Sometimes i think i look good,other times i just want to put a paper bag over my head :P IP: Logged |
