Jinn or djinn (singular: jinnī, djinni, or genie; Arabic: الجن‎ al-jinn, singular الجني al-jinnī are supernatural creatures in Islamic mythology as well as pre-Islamic Arabian mythology. They are mentioned frequently in the Quran (the 72nd sura is titled Sūrat al-Jinn) and other Islamic texts and inhabit an unseen world called Djinnestan, another universe beyond the known universe. The Quran says that the jinn are made of a smokeless and "scorching fire",[1] but are also physical in nature, being able to interact in a tactile manner with people and objects and likewise be acted upon. The jinn, humans and angels make up the three sapient creations of God. Like human beings, the jinn can be good, evil, or neutrally benevolent and hence have free will like humans and unlike angels.[2] The shaytan jinn are the analogue of demons in Christian tradition, but the jinn are not angels and the Quran draws a clear distinction between the two creations. The Quran states in surat Al-Kahf (The Cave), Ayah 50,[3] that Iblis (Azazel) is one of the jinn.

The underground shelters around Nevşehir and Göreme were originally built to escape persecution by the pagan Roman authorities.[citation needed] Many of the churches, hewn in the rocks, date from these early years of Christianity. Even when Theodosius I made Christianity the official religion of the empire the caves offered protection for the local people during raids by the Sassanid Persians circa 604 AD and by the Islamic Caliphate circa 647AD. And when Iconoclasm became state policy in the Byzantine empire again the caves of Nevşehir became shelters for those escaping persecution.

The castle on the hill dates from the Byzantine period, when the region was on the frontline in the wars against the Islamic Caliphate.

At the Battle of Manzikert (present-day Malazgirt) in 1071AD, the Byzantine emperor Romanos IV was defeated by the Seljuk Sultan Alp Arslan. This led to the occupation of Anatolia by the Seljuks by 1074AD and Nevşehir along with the rest of the region became part of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum and then under the rule of the Karamanid dynasty in 1328AD and finally under rule of the Ottoman empire around 1487AD and was renamed "Muşkara". It remained a relatively insignificant settlement until the early 18th century.

Also named Mystical Grottos in Flower Hill, the Chinese name is Huashan Mi Ku, found by a farmer when he climbed up the Flower Hill (Huashan) to cut wood in 2000. The grottos are only 15 kilometers from Huangshan City.

There are totally 36 grottos distributively found in the foot of the Flower Hill now, they extend about 5 kilometers along the hill. The grotto interiors show evidence of having been chiseled. As no debris has been found in or around them, archeologists and scientists have yet do discover when and how they were built. Who built and for what? They surmise that these grottos are for troops shelters, or for food shelters or for men slaughter, some hold the points that they are the ancient stone quarry or the ancient emperors' tombs. But none evidence can they find. It is sill an archeological and scientific conundrum today.In these grottos, there are many giant stones and stone carvings are found, they look like birds, beasts, pavilions… they areregarded as the history museum of stone culture of the ancient Anhui.

Among the grottos, it is particularly worth mentioning is that the Grotto No.35, which is the largest one of its kind that found in Huashan now, extolled as the Underground Palace and Cool Palace, 18 meters in highest point, 170 meters in length, with an area of 12,000 square meters. There are 26 stone pillars triangularly supporting its ceiling, inside the grotto, there are many stone rooms, stone beds, stone bridges, stone storied buildings, stone gutters, and stone pools… this grotto is very good ventilated inside, do not feel any discomfort. Its strange structure of the stone wall absorbs the acoustic waves, therefore, no matter makes how loud hubbub, even the slightest echo is not heard inside.

Too many mysteries hide in the Huashan Grottos, shoals of tourists come here try to unveil them every day. But when they are indulging in exploring the mysterious caves in the Huashan Mystical Grotto Area, they miss the beauty of pastoral, clear water, green hills, cliff-stone carvings, grotesque rocks, ancient temples and many other ancient buildings.

The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. God of Craftsmen, Rebirth and Creation.

In Egyptian mythology, it is said that it was Ptah who called the world into being, having dreamt creation in his heart, and speaking it, his name meaning opener, in the sense of opener of the mouth. Indeed the opening of the mouth ceremony, performed by priests at funerals to release souls from their corpses, was said to have been created by Ptah. Atum was said to have been created by Ptah to rule over the creation, sitting upon the primordial mound.
In art, he is portrayed as a bearded mummified man, often wearing a skull cap, with his hands holding an ankh, was, and djed, the symbols of life, power and stability, respectively. It was also considered that Ptah manifested himself in the Apis bull.
Since Ptah was the primordial mound, and had called creation into being, he was considered the God of craftsmen, and in particular stone-based crafts. Eventually, due to the connection of these things to tombs, and that at Thebes, the craftsmen regarded him so highly as to say that he controlled their destiny. Consequently, first amongst the craftsmen, then the population as a whole, Ptah also became a God of reincarnation. Since Seker was also God of craftsmen, and of re-incarnation, Seker was later assimilated with Ptah becoming Ptah-Seker.
Ptah-Seker gradually became seen as the personification of the sun during the night, since the sun appears to be re-incarnated at this time, and Ptah was the primordial mound, which lay beneath the earth. Consequently, Ptah-Seker became considered an underworld deity, and eventually, by the Middle Kingdom, become assimilated by Osiris, the lord of the underworld, occasionally being known as Ptah-Seker-Osiris.
