I think I saw this asteroid mentioned a couple times around the forum.. But..Urania in Greek Mythology is the Muse of Astronomy.. A daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne (Mnemosyne, A Titaness that was the personification of Memory.. She was the Daughter of Gaia and Uranus) So.. This makes her a grand-daughter of Uranus.. In terms of Greek Mythology. So.. It makes sense that she is a Muse of Astronomy, as Zeus is a God of the Sky, and Mnemosyne is a Titaness of Memory.. Edit: I originally posted this before looking at its significance in my chart.. Personally, I have it at 23 Libra.. Loosely conjunct Akashi at 20 Libra, and loosely Trine Telephus at 20 Aquarius.

It works for astrology too I think. Mine is exactly square my ASC (and widely UNITAS/EROS/VALENTINE), conjunct my IC and sextile the mini-cluster in Aquarius involving MORPHEUS and the others. Hey, my SUN is at 24 Libra conjunct your URANIA, and my mini-stellium is at 22 Aquarius ! IP: Logged |
