Mine in my chart is not hitting any planets or personal points. However, I do know someone who has Nessus exact conjunct to their ascendant in the first and the first house interpretation fits them to a T.
Sorry Meatballz, my mistake! However, I think there are two sides to every coin and I don't want to bend on one side. Maybe a person who has strong Pluto, Mars, 8th house, Scorpio influence has Nessus that bends towards "excessive or incessant sexual desires" But a well-aspected Nessus should only be an uncontrolled desire related to the house and sign. For eg, I know someone who has Nessus conjunct Venus in Leo, in the second house. He was a shop lifter kid, he wanted everything that fascinated him or should I say found attractive (Venus). He stored all that stuff carefully (2nd house possessions) and was addicted to video games collection and playing both. As a big boy, now thanks to his 12th house Saturn he is not a shoplifter but he bends towards excessive luxury, wants to have everything attractive and royal. He also has an excessive need to spend on making a beautiful and luxurious home (Venus in Leo conjunct Nessus). I think this is how it plays out. Negatively, I think he would've abused for money and possessions.

Hey I don't intend to pry, but is that when you want a person you just can't control your desire? N yes the definitions of Nessus by houses given by some blog r not even close! ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |

I concur with the interpretation of uncontrolled desire. My NYMPHE and SCHRODINGER are both there with CERES. I do have a powerful need to help guide, transform, and heal victims of various forms of abuse -- especially sexual. I'm forceful but nurturing in my work (as a sex therapist) and able to explore every side or prospect. My boyfriend's DEJA conjunct it has always intrigued me. I would say, however, few can affect me so deeply on such a primal level. Complicated, for an asexual schizoid to process such powerful emotions -- or try. IP: Logged |

Yup. If I was going to choose one short, simple keywords-type interpretation, "uncontrolled desire," or "desire without regard for the consequences" is the interpretation that is entirely consistent with the myth and applicable to a wide variety of situations. It would include abuse, but isn't as limiting (and often irrelevant) as that word.

This is my Nessus relationship with somebody, even though NN and MOON/Asc/SN are conjunct, looking at Nessus the picture is scary... I am the one with the Nessus in the NN, I am a woman, so... abuser not hahaha! and the relationship just started. The times of birth are correct, so are the houses IP: Logged |

4th house- Possible family abuse, abuser or victim, violence in the home, incest themes, deep rooted psychological conditions from childhood related to Nessus themes. On the higher vibration Nessus here can indicate a person who is passionate about domestic abuse and may have been drawn to the work because of their early experiences with their own childhood. Or in a more general sense, they could be passionate about saving others from home/childhood related issues and working with children with no "roots" or "home."True for me But instead of working with abuse in any kind of professional environment, I'm passionate about helping loved ones through abuse - whether it's warning them of red flags, or healing the wounds left behind from previous abusers. My friends feel like my true family to me, which could be why it plays out like that. IP: Logged |

Thanks Amy Anne. I am trying once more to understand the theme of abuse in my chart, but I can't understand this, I am not sure how the abuse plays in my life. Maybe this is seen in synastry. IP: Logged |

Should I say that you have an "uncontrolled desire" to protect, nuture and care for your loved ones? You cannot control yourself from forwarding a helping hand and taking people you love under your wings. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |

Aub in which house is your Nessus, n thx for the input. I think Nessus is uncontrolled passion too. Something that we cannot resist. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |

Hey you may not be an abuser, but you certainly have an "uncontrolled desire" for this man. You want to have him and considering his moon I think he will given-in to you. Alternatively, he will find you too controlling or scary. But your Saturn may try to restrict his Nessus.

Hello NickyVenus6!Thanks for your post, I will come back when then relationship goes forward, right now Venus is going to enter retrograde phase. He is rethinking everything with me I guess, so, our nascent relationship is in stand by... I also saw your blog, interesting! My boss have Nessus conjunct Nemesis in synastry, with one of my co-worker. I am new there, but I have Mars, exactly were they have South Node (boss) and Saturn (co worker), and I work with both of them, of course! and I think they are fighting ... Do you have any thoughts about Nessus conjunct Nemesis in synastry? IP: Logged |

Yes, definitely but not as much as you may think. Criminal Minds is a great show. I can watch it all day, but my Libra moon can't handle it for too long. Haha IP: Logged |

Ah, yes! Wow this really cleared up my perception of Nessus, thanks. "Abuse" always seemed too extreme of an interpretation to me.

I have Nessus in my 10H in Gemini. Never abused a kid. However, I was a preschool teacher for many, many years and I could barely contain myself when talking to a parent of a child who I suspected was being abused. In that line of work, you are a mandated reporter of abuse. I had to talk with my coworkers, because I knew my visceral reaction was irrational. Unfortunately, most of the time, I was on point. ------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Does she have strong mars, pluto aspects? Nessus is not bad on it's own unless there is strong mars, pluto or scorpio in the chart bending towards the negative and not towards jupiter, venus and moon good energy. ------------------ Free Information on Love Astrology IP: Logged |

Do you like to talk a lot? At work maybe you talk too much? Again not to pry! Or you may be talking, writing, communicating up the ladder of success? You want to be at the top and you are talking your way through? Just guessing, Nessus in Gemini and in the 10th
