I haven't really noticed any lesbians here, so speak up, guuurlz also bisexual women, most welcome to contribute. What's Sappho doing in your chart, do you think it plays a significant role etc.? IP: Logged |

All I know is that I have a Scorpio Sappho. I don't know the specifics beyond that, and I have no real idea what it's supposed to mean. But I can say it shares my 4H with Jupiter in between my packed 3 & 5H along with Pallas. IP: Logged |

Close to IC? Does it aspect personal planets, Eros, Juno? you'd say it's highly aspected or not? I'm just exploring the idea that it plays a part in charts of women who love women, though I'm usually skeptic about asteroids. But I don't really buy the idea that Sappho is really about creativity, poetry etc. etc.; I mean it's the only asteroid culturally connected to lesbians, which one is left then? My curiosity has a personal twist also, but I wouldn't dwell on it here.

Note: I made a mistake in saying Lilith and have since (like within a minute) corrected it. (You replied FAST, Belba!)As I said, I don't know the specifics. It means nothing to me so I haven't been motivated to learn more. I've read a little blurb on Sappho in general but not what it means in the signs and houses. That said, I seriously doubt all my female astro-twins are attracted to women. (Though it would explain A LOT about the two astro-twins I know! ) My Eros is in 5H Sag and Juno is (like Lilith) in 6H Cappie. Since I know very little about asteroid astrology, I haven't made any extensive notes on them either. And I don't feel like doing the work for it now, especially not as long as anything I share is strictly anecdotal anyway (which it will be unless you get at least a few others to share the specifics). That's why I haven't asked you if your Sappho aspects Lilith now I'm adding this question into equation :P I know, I know, one asteroid to have such an impact in one's sexuality, that really far fetched, but bear with me I made this thread half for fun, and also because I'm currently obsessively contemplating my sexuality, and this is a nice diversion (but still on topic haha) but you still haven't shared with me the major aspects your Sappho makes :P pretty pretty pleaseeee well, I could in theory find your chart somewhere and figure it out myself, but I'm polite like that, to ask you first IP: Logged |

Sappho is conjunct my ASC, and I identify as pansexual. It's also trine my Eros and Kaali. IP: Logged |

Sappho on Ascendant What do you mean, you're not a lesbian?!? I know what is the definition of pansexuality, but still, do you have any preferences regardless? oh, and thanks for mentioning Kaali, gotta check that! no connection to Lilith and Juno though? IP: Logged |

"The natal house position of Sappho usually contains some desire the person has, although often he does not know exactly how to obtain it."There seems to be a lot of talk of moon conjunctions with Sappho regarding lesbianism.

I don't like the "tags" but I'm supposed to be Pansexual and I have Sappho in Cancer in 3rd house conjunct Moon, opposite Neptune, opposite Uranus, trine Pluto and also conjunct Aphrodite, I remember. Don't know if that's important here too, haha . Sorry if I misspelled. Oh! And I have Juno in Sagittarius and Lilith in Gemini.IP: Logged |

yeah, I've noticed that... that's because Moon is represented as a female, feminine, etc. planet, but I don't really like to divide planets into binary groups, male/female. I think if Sappho was to play a role in sexuality, then it would have to make a lot of aspects, influence dominant planets in the chart, maybe fill some geometry patterns. Only one aspect by itself wouldn't really tell nothing, you'd have to put in into context. What kind of desire? IP: Logged |

Highly aspected Sappho your chart ruler anywhere in the picture perhaps? you've got all the big transpersonal planets aspecting it, do you have preference toward women? On Kinsey scale, where are you? Are your Juno and Lilith in opposition? IP: Logged |

I also know a bisexual girl with her Mars in Cancer and her ex girlfriend also has that placement, too.
Interesting, another two connections to Moon.. yep, I've noticed that with Mars in Cancer, and, as cookbooky it may hear, also lot of Venus in Geminis I know are bisexy. Is your Jupiter an important planet in your chart, maybe have Sag Venus etc.? And eleventh house, any connections you could make, perhaps you being Aqua Sun, ASC, Venus? IP: Logged |

Are you perhaps Cancer Mars (just deducing from the info you gave, you could be also Cap...) If you have Mars conjunct IC, then your family is probably not okay with anything really that's my experience.. But again, surprisingly an indirect "Moon" connection - your IC aspecting Sappho. Would you perhaps be happier to be in a relationship with man (if you could choose). If I was being fatalistic, I could say that your Sappho side was meant to be tucked away (12H)...

To be honest, I only had one experience with a female and I really liked it . I had more experiences with men. But my curiosity becomes progressively bigger. Last Saturday I was at a football match and a girl caught my attention. I hope to meet her again, because I was speechless. Seriously. I dont know what I prefer, I'm still young. We'll see, haha. But I've always said that I find much more beautiful women than men. I love everything about women . I hope to have another experience with a woman soon ♥. No. I have: Juno 29°58'37" Sappho 28°26'13" Lilith 7°38'28" With "chart ruler" you mean dominant planet or what? Sorry! I'm still learning this language. IP: Logged |

I hope you meet Her again for me, there is nothing more beautiful than two women loving each other By chart ruler I mean the planet that rules the sign your Ascendant is in for example, if you have Taurus ASC, Taurus is ruled by Venus, so your chart ruler is Venus and it is believed that it has a lot importance in your chart. Dominant planet is something else, it's "calculated" by different criteria, number of aspects it makes, if it's in the best sign etc. etc. No te preocupes, we are all still learning English, you have nothing to apologize for IP: Logged |

Well then that "minor" sextile is put in totally different perspective, isn't it? seems like you were destined to be a lesbian, and with that Jupiter of yours, also a very uninhibited one, am I right? IP: Logged |

Oh thanks. I hope to meet her again too. It was love at first sight! . Yes, yes, right. In both cases: Venus. Dominant and chart ruler. I have Venus in Aquarius and trine Lilith but at 4 degrees, still counts? "No te preocupes"! Wow, haha. Gracias, again. IP: Logged |
