Just a note to our beloved newbies. Asteroids do not have the planetary energy of planets, so the orb is much less. I use up to 3 in conjunctions, but this is a little bit of a fudge. It should be 2. Some astrologers will only use an exact orb, so one can see how small the orb power is I use 1-2 degrees in other aspects, but it really should be 1 lol Hope this helps because we have been getting this question a lot! xx ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Firstly, thank you for this post. However, I have always wondered about these two things: Are this orbs also true for synastry? What about Nodes and angles?IP: Logged |

I would say yes, my Friend, the same for synastry. Of course, the closer the more intense. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

If the sun or moon conjuncts an asteroid it's orb would be 10-15 degrees.

I count up to 4 orb in asteroids especially the conjunction and opposition, because I noticed that they still are part of the life experience of the person, it's just not felt that long.IP: Logged |

I forgot to check the progressions, Ceri, I will do it when I get on the PC.Hehe, Ams, I was just trying to say that I think looser orbs meant that it will not be felt throughout the whole lifetime and only at a certain point? Like in my dad's case, he has Ramirez squaring his nodes at 1 orb, so I think looser orbs still have an impact, but not that strong and long lasting like his 4 orb. IP: Logged |
