Well, that is a complex question. For example, Mercury trine Neptune is the sign of a writer When I had my chart done years before I ever got into Astrology, the astrologer told me that I had the chart of a natural writer and I should go home and write.
I didn't but later I did. I may never have done writing but I had a GIFT, which is a trine. Some things are fated. I have Nessus oppose the Child asteroid. I think I was fated to be abused. I could not help that. I have nemesis conj my moon. My mother would be my enemy. I could not help that. So, it is kind of like that. I don't like to do transits cuz I fear you can make bad things worse, if you see a bad transit

In defense of the native, she is carrying a very heavy burden. Her father may have been abusive. Her home life may have been violent, if not overtly, then covertly. Have a long engagement with this gal.
This isn't true, and also: neither one is an asteroid. It sometimes feels like you pick-and-choose things like this, when someone disagrees with you. I disagreed with you, so I was suddenly the enemy. I have Saturn square Pluto. So do a few others here, that I can think of. I stood up for you for years, and then tried to explain when I thought you could be more understanding of what someone else was trying to relate to you. I am in the most awful place in my life, and yet I can still get around without hating you. I don't know why you hate me, or certain other people. You must be in an even more difficult place, to not be able to tolerate someone simply disagreeing with you. Also: my father wasn't abusive. IP: Logged |

I have Nymphe conjunct my Ac, and I just read that mythologically nymphs were goddesses of nature, who dance and sing and make love freely with whoever they wanted, not being restricted by any strict relationship structures or subordinated to men. So call me what you want but this sounds like a world I'd like to live in, lol IP: Logged |

Teasel,I have Pluto square Saturn, and what Ami Anne has written is nonsensical. Since these are slow moving outer planets, two happily married school friends of mine have the same aspect. No abusive fathers or dysfunctional childhoods in sight.

Well if it's in the natal, it can be activated at anytime, although transits and progressions trigger it. I think the career or partner that we chose is free will, but it seems like our challenges are fated! I agree about checking out transits and progressions, it makes you paranoid and anticipate the worst! IP: Logged |

Yea, about transits I can feel them without looking. Sometimes, I look to confirm it, though. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think progressions are more long lasting since I noticed the same aspects since 2009 when Pisces became my progressed ascendant. Sun opposition Pluto is the worst, and if I remember correctly, it's there from 2010 to 2030! 20 looong years! Venus square Neptune the 2nd worst. I'm not dating, but people make up stories about my lovelife!IP: Logged |

I never looked at aspects in progressions. Is that what you mean? I am a Progressed Scorpio ASC which I like better than Libra. I can kick azz better ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I read that progressions can be interpreted as transits as well, so I google those aspects that interest me, usually the negative ones in my chart. Some sites have definitions for progressions, but some only for transits. Well Scorpio is an extreme sign, so I think as empowering as it may seem it makes you prone to drama from other people's manipulation? I'm basing it from my friends experiences with being a Scorpio ascendant with Pluto in the 1st and 12th house. With Libra I assume everything was "balanced" and smooth sailing?IP: Logged |

That's not even a personal aspect. You're talking about an entire generation of women. IP: Logged |

Elysia, exactly. Though generational aspects *can* occasionally be very personal, if they are making tight aspects with a third, personal planet, for example Moon or Venus or Sun or Mars in this instance. Of if one of them was conjunct an angle within reasonable orb. Of course it`s not a demon-aspect at all, but that is another topic. lol
(but try to make Saturn-Pluto-people move anywhere they don´t want to, and running against a solid brick wall will feel smooth and soft and yielding in comparision.

I have question Ami....What if you have medusa conjunct the midheaven exact? But it's retrograde? I also have nemesis opposite the sun. I gotta admit but I don't favor men even though I'm sexually attracted to men I still prefer to avoid men hence which is why I only date women. ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |

Great questions, Angel! Ok--with the asteroids Retro, I have not really studied the difference in their manifestation with direct and retro so cannot speak from experience. However, through the language of Astrology, I think retro would make for more of an internal struggle/ internal working of the asteroid. Hence, with Medusa, you may STRUGGLE with the desire to "tease/come on to" guys. If it is conjunct the MC, I bet these issues are something you grapple with. YEA, I think the Medusa may be the ambivalence to men, too, not just the nemesis, as medusa really, really struggled with men lol xxxxx ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? My guy cousin once told me "you know your very beautiful cousin, you can get any guy your into but you are too mean and harsh with men, that's your problem" I give ugly looks to guys who stare at me those guys are usually Mexican gardeners. Omg I can't stand men drive up next to my car and stare at me. One time I was close to give him the finger. ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House

Ami just to help with your research. This is out of topic. I have PSYCHE retrograde conjunct cupido and my 3rd ruler Jupiter retrograde in Virgo in the 12thbhouse. When I was in grade school I was put in special education because I would often daydream in class about boys I had crushes on. Being put in special education lowered my self esteem as a child and was put on meds which made me depressed and when I was not on the meds I was a happy camper. ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |
