my feelings ate that Anubis ,here in the 12 the especially, guards you from malicious attacks. this shows that as long as you walk your "path" follow the spirit of maat(truth), evil doers can not affect you.
this position can in some situations turn the evil thoughts back on those to initiate these negative thoughts against you.this is most helpful nataly when one is a truth teller. this helps deflect the evil thoughts and intentions of those who shun the truth and light.
