Hahaha! Thats funny! I hadnt known that. I to love "Tea Tea" Peppermint is one of my favorite teas. I used ot drink it alot when i was younger. Especially when I went camping! Somethign about a hot cup of tea being one with nature under a blanket of stars! Now that the memories are flooding back in, i think i will sit and enjoy a cup!

Try having "chai" like this too---Boil water with ginger first, then add the sugar, tea and boil again for a minute and then add milk. This is my all time favourite. Another variation can be that instead of ginger add cloves. Both these are very useful to clear sore throats also. Rumaan IP: Logged |

oh yes, ginger tea is my favorite for curing almost any ailment...i just boil chunks of raw ginger and swig! better in no time! and tastes lovely too, without enhancement.does anyone know about ginger with sushi? i had read that eating ginger with sushi originated as a natural anti-biotic, and kept toxins from the raw fish at bay? or does it just make the the little sea-weed rolls more delicious, along with the pungent wasabi? yes indeed...tea, all different kinds, is nature's truly awesome gift.

Both answers are right regarding the sushi. Unfortunately ginger probably won't keep the heavy metals in modern fish from harming us. I do love that pickled ginger.IP: Logged |

You have to be very careful where you get your seaweed. Apart from the heavy metals, it picks up radiation like there's no tomorrow. But one is Ok to eat any food occasionally, so just go for variety all the time. I'm going offline now for a day or so. Lots of hot salty baths and seaweed wraps for you!IP: Logged |
