zenwarner Yeah they have always done that. I can relate. But let it happen to them and most often it is oh woe is poor them, why why why? But they are quick to look down on others and judge them. IP: Logged |

i have read louise hay and think its posotive. i think biography becomes biology, mind over matter, belief kills and belief cures, the mind is wild sometimes and needs some strong handling. if you have a negative thought then rebuke it. i also think that when one of us prevails, we will all prevail! all power to us!IP: Logged |

oops, in answer to your question, chronic pain stems from an erroneous belief. IP: Logged |

I really disagree with that, robyn -- please help me understand..... If you were in a car accident and broke a lot of bones (or your back or neck) and were left with chronic pain that could only be eased instead of cured, where/how is that continuing pain an "erroneous belief" on your part??I'm curious (tho none of my business) if you've ever had chronic pain or a serious illness?? I have been living with a number of health issues for over a year now - the worst of which is a severely herniated disc in my back at L4-L5 (which pushes directly against my sciatic nerve and causes unbearable pain). I've had to take 2 different kinds of pain meds several times daily for over a year. I hate the idea of taking drugs but have finally accepted that I'm on a journey and this is just one stage of the journey. The Louise Hay book's information about what the spiritual cause is for this particular issue is right on. I also looked up every ailment/health issue I've experienced in my life and all the causes she talks about seemed quite on the mark too. So I guess you could say I'm a believer, but only because I researched it for myself and found the results to be very accurate. Perhaps it's not the same experience for others though. IP: Logged |

it is well to be calm in sickness; to be hopeful is still better; but to understand that sickness is not real, and Truth can destroy its seeming reality, is best of all, for this understanding is the universal and perfect remedy. by conceding power to discord, a large majority of doctors depress mental energy, which is the only real recuperative power. i copied this from Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy.
