Hey you! Yes, it looks like it helps with that too!The form I take it in is tablets. The brand I got is Planetary Herbals, Full Spectrum Ashwagandha. I think it's a powerful, helpful herb. Sometimes I take supplements and am not quite sure if they are "working" or not. With this one i'd have to say yes. I notice on the days that I take it I'm much more relaxed. Please let me know if it works for you and how you feel. IP: Logged |

yes that is why i picked the organic india one; i think i would have trouble taking anything morning and lunchtime for more than a few days...though maybe this stuff would help with that!! i'm usually good in the afternoon, especially if i have my blue/strawberry/banana/yogurt/pressedapplejuice smoothie. WAAAAAAAAY better than caffeine or protein then!i will report after a little time lapse on the ashwagandha. edit: on closer inspection, my brand has 400mg per capsule but the "serving" is TWO capsules, ie 800mg...still a good deal on sale for about half the price of the other brands! apparently LARGE doses given to pregnant lab animals have caused miscarriages, so it is not recommended to pregnant people to be on the safe side. but there are no reported bad effects that i can find!IP: Logged |

I think I will try this one~! Thank you for the information!I like to know what a particular plant looks like and a bit more information about it, so here is a link for Ashwagandha: http://www.tradewindsfruit.com/ashwagandha.htm It just helps me to imagine the plant and feel a connection with it while taking something that might not resemble it in the least, like a pill. ------------------ _________________________ Aquarius/Pisces/Taurus IP: Logged |
