Yeah, but I wonder why people take it internally?
I mean...Keopectate is for diarrhea or something, isn't it? I would think that if the goal was to detox, it would be...uh...the other way around?

Use sparingly as it is a powder that gets everywhere.

I found DE to: regulate my bowels, to remedy thinning hair, to rid my body of worms and parasites, fade brown spots on my skin, give my skin greater elasticity, and more.

DE kills fleas on my cats. When they clean themselves the ingested DE kills worms ad parasites.

I try to keep some in my water jug and the cats water dish.

It will desicate that which lives within an exo skeleton and it I'd very powdery so use with care.

It can be used wet. It will dry and remain just as useful because due is harvested from ocean bottoms and some other natural waters. DE is composed mostly of shell particles and is intetesting to view under microscope or magnifying glass.

When used with chicken or horse feed it kills worms and parasites internally, exits in the poop and lessens the fly population greatly.

It is safe and not a poison.

So protocol for using supplements is really a set of instructions or rules, or better yet, procedures to follow which may change as you get further into your healing process, kind of like peeling away the layers of an onion skin... When the first layer is removed it reveals the next layer that was previously hidden and then becomes the next priority. There is always a sequence of preparations and applications to be followed, most of which are not known to the layman.

The body is treated as a whole and as it heals other issues may arise that have been covered up or compromised and further treatments may be recommended. You must always follow through to the end with recommended protocol in order for anything to be effective.

I have this particular product which comes highly recommended, but you can do your own research if you want, Great Plains bentonite detox by Yerba Prima.

I also read in the review section that it's really important to drink more water than you normally do, to ensure that the toxins are getting flushed out.

I must agree with PlutoSurvivor.

You can take DE - Food grade internally. They always mention how great it is. But also from first hand experience I would have to disagree. I only took it for 2 days 3 teaspoons with water and it affected my teeth greatly. So be very careful.

You have to beware of what is said about a product; the information may not always be accurate

Some people might recognize DE when it was marketed in commercials as the "HARTZ once a month wormer" for cats and dogs. Its purpose was to kill off internal parasites. I do not know of any study that demonstrates its effectiveness with humans. Because of that, i have been on the fence about using it for a very long time.

I tried zeolite a few years ago. The sellers never define what it is and often uses descriptions near identical to DE, something that had DE sellers upset. I made the mistake of ignoring a very serious red flag when the zeolite sellers basically said get back to us with your experiences. They should have already invested the time and money to know just how their product works. Like a true fool, I tried it. I experienced such a crippling and painful lower abdominal cramping that I thought I had boarded the red eye to the great beyond. Only a merkaba activation spared me. I would not even offer this to someone that I could not stand. I took a chance and I feel that I am lucky to have survived it.
