I meant to get here yesterday but my day filled up with too many things, sorry I'm late!

I know sometimes you prefer to erase your posts, mirage, so let me know if you want me to take this down.

^ I love this.

Have you ever read the Impersonal Life by Joseph Brenner? Your writing reminds me of that.

Yeah. Working on it!

We need to help EACH OTHER change the paradigm, change the Social Environment into a Kinder setting...... Promotes the DEEPEST Healing. When we help Heal Others, we 'help our selves'.... A Resonance begins. Hopefully we COULD change the world. We are inter-related. Can't do it 'all by yourself'

Totally...but I need to be reminded of these things, they aren't big ideas circulating in our culture, though people often pay lip service to the ideal, it doesn't usually come from as deep a place as I think it comes from when you say it.

Mostly children, I think? Now that I'm older I don't care so much...but that could just be me, and one good thing that I have "won" from all my efforts and struggles so far.

What bothers me is not having any clue what to do about marriage, and making decisions that will affect my whole family. I hate feeling confused and stuck.

Another song that touches on the idea of "reflections"...hits close to home for me.

Landslide

I took my love and I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around

And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Mmm Mmm...

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I'm getting older too

Nice talking with you as always

Hi Faith!.... Just a quickie note for right now to say that I love your detailed post to me above... Looked up the "book" and found a Elvis reference!! cool....

Having INTERFERENCE again by neighbor's big sound WOOFERS on the other side of these thin apartment walls. Sounds like he's hosting practice for pep-rally drummers in a marching band! (owwww!)

We are experiencing "electric shorts" now in bathroom wiring. Took my shower in the dark this morning. He turns on his booming beats and shaking the wiring in the old apartment. Bathroom lights suddenly went back on and flicker.... heh, like our own psychedelic club! Hope it doesn't interfere with the electrical plug to the computer.... Maintenance crew for this scarcely-maintained apartment usually have the day off on Fridays and weekends! Geez, shirrrr hopin' it don't catch fier ...? (I need to relocate dammit..... makes me nervous!)

Much love to you...... will come back later when/if I can!

^ Oh no...that's like Godzilla is shaking your house outside!

Yes, I started reading The Impersonal Life when I learned that Elvis kept his car trunk full of copies that he would hand out to people. LOL

I've never finished it but was really fascinated with how well the author explained our life force, our True Self, being that which is in touch with the Creator. His position is that while we don't think we make our own hearts beat, we actually do. We don't think we are capable of creating a new life, but our True Selves actually can. It's not just something that happens to us, but something we actively do as an extension of God (to paraphrase), outside our conscious awareness.

Uhhh...something like that. He writes it better. But you talking about our true selves reminded me of it.

Love to you as well, and hoping the woofers break, as always.

'Thank you for sharing!' I agree!!

We had electrical problems here that finally got resolved on Wednesday afternoon. I hope I'll be able to clear some time in the future to concentrate on 'quality' posting...

It feels like a healing for me whenever I'm able to reach down deep and find that 'zone'-- It's 'home' to me. I feel nurtured when I can reach down into my guts, my mind, my heart... and bring out words.

Faith.... May the magic in the Spirit of Elvis hug your Inner Child and help you to Truly feel rooted, supported and safe in these harshest times-- where positive and negative become so gnarled and so intertwined that the answers are hard to tell apart... (((hug)))

"Butterflies can't see their wings. They can't see how truly beautiful they are, but everyone else can. People are like that as well."

We see our own faults because we can hear our own thoughts. But we are not in others' heads and we don't see how they disappoint themselves 24/7 too. We only see the pretty image they present to the world.

^ Hugs to you, RunAroundScreaming!

We need to practice Kindness..... The MOST IMPORTANT Kindness we can give is the Gift of Incredible Kindness to our own mind, memories, and thoughts.... Self-Forgiveness. Let it go...

Have YOU hugged your Inner-Child TODAY?

Thanks for your post, R.A.S.--for Joy!
