^ I saw the most difference in my dark circles. Which I’ve ALWAYS had! I find I’m using less concealer 😉 BUT I did have 2 changes in the last month that you cant see on a photo. Firstly, I was born with a congenital leftover on my bowels that wasn’t discovered and removed until I was 16. So I’ve had issues with my digestive tract basically my whole life. The last 2 weeks I’ve been more regular than I EVER have been before!!! Who knew digesting could be so exciting! Hehe! Secondly, I broke my plateau!!! I’ve been stuck for MONTHS and it was rather frustrating! I’ve lost 4 lbs in the last month by drinking a gallon a day! Now I’m going to be honest… I cheated 1 time… I had a can of Coke. I was pms’ing… But other than that one slip up, I didn’t drink anything but good ol’ water and some English breakfast tea (my favorite). And the funny thing is I don’t even miss all the juices and sodas… I didn’t realize I was actually dehydrated before I started this challenge. I had crinkles and dark circles under my eyes, more oily skin, colored/stinky urine, and more cravings!! I weigh 330 lbs at the moment, and I’m a big girl. After this challenge, I realized 1 gallon a day should be the norm, because I only feel normal if I drink that much! http://www.noexcusemom.com/one-gallon-water-challenge/ A few people at that site talk about losing weight after drinking a gallon of water a day. Also, a tip from the comments section: "What also helps me drink more water is to drink it with a straw." Gonna try that IP: Logged |

Water works wonders. Spring water, well water, not fluoride swamped chemical loaded tap water. Purified or filtered water can be sewer water before treatment. Not sure of the energetic or vibrational makeup of that... But yes, water works wonders, pay attention folks, and drink up IP: Logged |

^ One thing I just noticed in these "after" pictures: less redness. Maybe because water cools the fire of inflammation inside? *researching* Found this: quote: Inflammation is the body's natural response to irritants as it attempts to eliminate them. These irritants can be anything from pollens and other allergens to disease organisms. A healthy body can often successfully ward off many of these irritants, making inflammation a temporary and mild discomfort. Sometimes, though, inflammation can become a long-lasting and even debilitating condition that can have long term negative consequences.Health professionals have always recommended a healthy diet rich in natural anti-oxidants and plenty of fresh drinking water as being good ways to help manage inflammation. Water in particular is recommended because it can flush toxins and other irritants out of the system.

Apparently it has to be hot water to be absorbed into the body for more apparent transformations.Source - http://www.yogiapproved.com/health-wellness/how-to-drink-water-stay-hydrated-the-ayurvedic-way/ IP: Logged |

I've been mostly on juice and smoothies this week, and also noticed the redness had eased. I now have a cold, so I haven't made them today - although I meant to. It was good to my stomach - and my hair, consequently, since I was actually hydrated. IP: Logged |

Honestly I did not handle the sudden increase well. Got some kind of UTI. I was reading online and other people also reported negative side effects from this. Of course, the answer came back, "That's impossible, water is good for you, the doctors say...." But it's simple cause and effect for me. Though I always keep it in mind, that I need to stay hydrated, and I'm more likely to buy a bottle of water when I'm out, and I recognize my more subtle symptoms of thirst. Slow progress IP: Logged |
