Heyya! I'm pretty busy with regular work, learning about blogging, planning future endeavours etc. So far I'm having a pretty good year I must say. Have not tried any more lotteries but did score a big win lately. I applied and won a chance to test and review a $999 vacuum cleaner which has just come out. For my application I had to write a review on something technological (I reviewed my keyboard). So now I'm waiting for the cleaner to arrive. It's a brand I've coveted for years and never could afford. I was hoping to get a group of manifesters but everyone seems to have left, oh well I had a vision of starting a Facebook group but have yet to get that off the ground. How's it going with you? Are you still in law school?

Hey guys, new moon in Aries today! Bring out that inner warrior, be brave! New adventures - Start new projects - Instigate change. Banish procrastination. Get going everyone! Re last month, I didn't actually do much meditation as I had planned. But good stuff happened and I was very busy (with a new project, funnily enough) and won some movie tickets, hurrah! IP: Logged |

I like your thread, Magikaal I'll have to come back here for the lunations. Here's an astrologer that works with setting intentions, and she gives out the exact times to set them each month. Sonja Francis - http://www.youtube.com/user/AstrologerCoach/videos IP: Logged |

Hey there Mirage! Please feel free to join in I was initially confused about when the new moon was exactly and couldn't figure out times easily so left them out until I knew what I was doing. I've just found astro calendars on cafe astrology which is easy to follow. Times in EDT but that's not everyone's timezone. Gah I hate timezone differences. Math was never my strong suit. Thanks for that link Mirage I listened to some of it. She talks about starting something new - Aries being the sign of new beginnings. Making a choice to act in spite of fear, the warrior energy. Allow yourself to be in a state of not knowing, having a beginner's mindset. Letting go of that needing to know and see what happens. She talks about building something meaningful (Mars aligning with Pluto in Capricorn). Asking what is the next step of your journey, not being afraid to go after your goals, what would you do? She says that the best time to set intentions is: 1) right after the New Moon becomes exact (in Spiller's book I mentioned upthread, it was suggested to set intentions within the 8 hours following the New Moon for highest potency. Apparently within 48 hours is acceptable but within the first 8 hours is best). 2) and also when the moon is not Void Of Course (I had thought about this briefly but not put it into practice - makes sense though). So for anyone reading this, calculate the best time for your own timezone as per 1) time of new moon and 2) Void of Course moon and set your intentions then. You can go to various websites (Cafe Astrology, Moongiant.com or https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/) to check lunar phases for your own timezone. Meanwhile, I will think of how I can best summarize it here. IP: Logged |

Magikaal ~* I have this book for 21st Century and the 20th Century Volume. Paperback ... - http://www.amazon.com/American-Ephemeris-Century-2000-2100-Midnight/dp/0976242230 They have one (purple) that spans years 1950 to 2050?? I like the two-volume because 20th Century starts with year 1900. (my grandparents and parents, and some friends, were born before 1950) At the bottom of each page, they give all the moons, and time in UT. They give major aspects, and ingress times. If you KNOW how many hours from GMT/UT in UK you are, it's pretty easy to figure out times. (Every budding astrologer needs their Tools. A paper ephemeris is a good one. ... I think I saw that they have this available as an electronic PDF to download into your computer. ... Check it out.) ~* Also I use this personal small pocket calendar. - http://llewellyn.com/product.php?ean=9780738737829 If you're adept at flipping pages, you can coordinate info from front part of small thinner book, with the ephemeris provided in the back (given for 3 years-- year-before, year-afterwards) WITH the 4 major asteroid goddesses included, and you can note those figures/degrees on the calendar-pages next to the Time on the date it happens. It's 'work' but well worth the time-- Plus they give aspects for each day. The book doesn't cost as much money-- and you can carry it with you pretty easily. ~* - www.astro.com ... Astrodienst Sign up for a free account with Astrodienst. Learn how to use this site. It is VERY valuable. AFTER you make an account, there are drop windows on the home page bar. Right now, the 2nd tab from the left (going right), they have "Free Horoscopes" ... (you can explore those-- will provide you with ~limited free Daily transits for YOUR personal chart). Under that tab, look for Celestial Events ... (make sure the town is set for YOUR location when you set up your account/natal data). Around the day before a Lunation, they will give you the EXACT CHART 'for' that new or full moon IN your locale. You might want to explore the Celestial Events items. When you 'click' on them, they provide you with the Chart. And if you explore even more, you'll find that they give you the span of time that certain transits will last for you and YOUR natal, and will give exacting day and hour, in a list that appears, for each time that 'aspect' peaks in your chart (because of retrogrades, of course). ~* So! Those are some of the ways I get by, not having any software loaded in my computer for astrology. I got really good at 'ballparking' the Midnight Ephemeris (first book I left link to). You can get NOON {sunrise} (instead of Midnight). Some people prefer that?... but, since I work here at LL with people's charts all over the world, I have found the Midnight Ephemeris to be VERY comfortable. (I know that here on the EAST coast of USA, that 'the day' changes here either at 8 pm {-4 hrs}, OR briefly 7pm, depending on UK time changes. ... I got relatively good at gearing close-times, using Astrodienst accounts for printing up transits on wheels that I draw up.) I hope all that information helps you? Some of the other sites people like to use, can vary (due to the way they do calculations). I guess you have to KNOW your website-- get used to and KNOW your tools. Have a Great Day... _______________ edit ... Sorry if above doesn't make sense as much as I'd like it to. I am being harangued by neighbors who have woofer systems in this building. Saw the one outside-- he is COMPLETELY STONED out of his mind. He wouldn't know the difference between his body and the Cosmic Universe??? Looks like a wax skinny statue frozen in place mid-action right now. (ain't weed, either...) We share thin walls, and concrete slabs carry percussions QUITE strongly. I 'feel' like I'm yelling right now?? ... If you are 'sensitive' to energies, then, you 'know' what you're picking up on with me right now. I feel really sick .. (If you want to pray for me (body) AND for a solution to all this, I'd really really appreciate it??) This last NEW MOON Aries was in my 4th House (home, real estate; and a body house)! I need to leave the building, go off somewhere else, and not post at LL today. Gotta go find a better atmosphere. I don't have a mobile device linking to the internet. Bye-bye for now. IP: Logged |

New Moon is in Taurus now! Time to set your intentions for the month. Big astrological happenings! 1. Tomorrow Uranus moves into Taurus, for the first time in 84 years. Taurus represents stability, security, the senses, materialistic things and being practical and realistic. Uranus? Anything but! Apparently Uranus will influence Taurus in unexpected surprising, unconventional ways. 2. Moon trines Mars. The drive to make things happen, so they say. Get up and go after what you want. 3. Mars squares Uranus, they are both in the last degree (29th) of their signs. Powerful. Energy: creation, innovation. Being impulsive. Take due care however, don’t be reckless or take unnecessary risks. The Sabian Symbol for the 27th degree of Taurus is: “An Old Indian Woman Selling the Artifacts of Her Tribe to Passers-by.” This makes me laugh because I really need to go re-invigorate my Etsy shop. This is not a normal Taurus new moon. Expect surprises. Approach your goals with faith and an honest sense of purpose. Be idealistic. Focus on healthy and empowering changes. Things will be shaken up but think of it as being for your higher good. The best of luck to you all during this New Moon. IP: Logged |

Mirage - have thought of you several times during the last couple of weeks and sending good energy your way. Thanks for the tips and advice. Lol I have been using astro.com for a few years but bizarrely never really used Celestial Events, so thanks for that tip. When I read about your neighbour I felt rather chaotic and unsettled energy. I hope the situation has improved? If anything. IP: Logged |

@pocketrocketHi! Why not give it a go? Could be fun Edit: I have another win! Recently I was given a new computer by my bf/partner. This was one of my earlier wishes in the thread. A win is a win is a win... Today I'm trying to be good and have packed up some of my clothes to take to an op shop. This makes me feel good. IP: Logged |

Hey guys, new moon in Gemini approaching on Jun 13 or 14 depending on where you are located. For me it is in the early hours of June 14. Gemini: Air sign. Deals with: communication, friendships, sibling relationships, learning, local travel, and media. So wishes should probably reflect communication, sharing and understanding ideas, rethinking positions on subjects, learning new knowledge, friendships and everyday relationships, learning new skills for your projects. This Gemini moon doesn’t form any major aspects with planets but at 22 degrees Gemini it will be in the middle of 8 fixed stars, some of which are associated with luck and good fortune (see Astrology King website). * 21°11′ Gemini – fixed star Bellatrix (Orion) * 22°06′ Gemini – fixed star Capella (Auriga) * 22°24′ Gemini – fixed star Phact (Columba) * 22°39′ Gemini – fixed star Mintaka (Orion’s Belt) * 22°44′ Gemini – New Moon June 2018 * 22°49′ Gemini – fixed star El Nath (Taurus) * 23°13′ Gemini – fixed star Ensis (Orion’s Belt) * 23°42′ Gemini – fixed star Alnilam (Orion’s Belt) * 25°01′ Gemini – fixed star Al Hecka (Taurus) An excellent time for new projects, methinks! Ideas are flowing already. EDIT: The moon will be void of course initially so the best time to do your ritual is right after this finishes. This is 5.21 pm in Australian time on the 14th June, please adjust for your time zone. I believe for the US this is 12.21 am Pacific Time on the 14th June. IP: Logged |
