Maybe I should add something in this post here a bit later after breakfast, listening to some meditative music with beautiful voices I found :🌼🍵🥧🌼 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wKdBGdvoJrc Something like that could contribute to one's inner wellbeing, since that's the subject here. IP: Logged |

I really should have mentioned this earlier, but good/balanced gut health is VERY important to mood and helping with things like depression. Our guts actually produce and use more serotonin than our brains. So taking probiotics, eating probiotic and prebiotic foods, avoiding anti-biotics as much as possible, having a clean, regularly evacuated colon, etc, etc is all very helpful to improving and maintaining gut health. Also reducing sugar and carbs some to a lot, for many people will help, because a lot of people have issues with candida albicans overgrowth and mutation. When this happens in the body, it makes the body crave sugar and simple/fast digesting carbs, and the yeast literally sends its tendrils through the micro pores in the gut into the blood stream. This is really bad for two reasons, it releases acids and alcohol directly into the bloodstream (by products of its ingesting/converting sugar/carbs) AND it overly enlarges those micro pores so that other toxins can more easily pass from the gut into the bloodstream rather than being eliminated in the normal and better ways (like via urine, feces, etc). This is what people mean when they talk about "leaky gut syndrome" which in my experience is a very real issue, though some mainstream doctors/MD's may and do poo poo it. IP: Logged |

OK finally got a bottle of ashwagandha today and took 400mg a couple hours ago. wondering if the small amount i was getting from the drink primed my body for it because i am feeling it already, like i took a benzo. even my tmj is relaxing. brain is calm. apparently ashwagandha is supposed to take 2 weeks to 2 months to kick in. has anyone felt it right away? been taking magnesium glycinate and it is helping with sleep, but has only been slightly good for stress, anxiety or tmj. anyway this one seems like a clean brand and not expensive for the dosage. organic india - usda certified organic, non-gmo. no weird binders/ingredients, only ashwagandha root in vegetable pullulan capsules. $20 for 90 400mg caps.

Melatonin is not enough to make me fall asleep. I have elderberries with these in them. I did takes some during the day when I was doing things around my home and day drinking. I did doze of on the couch when my husband picked up the pizzas. But I took one on the car ride back to the state my husband is working. I did not fall asleep but I was quite content on the 11 hour drive. And I didn't bother me as much that I couldn't hit my vape in the car rental. IP: Logged |

I’m on to magnesium now. These long drives from husband’s work to visiting home really do it to me. IP: Logged |
