Few days ago I was at a construction site and they were working on the sewer system, I smelled the odour and it won't go away from the back of my nose and throat for days, very uncomfortable... I used an expensive mouth rinse and toothpaste didn't work.
The only thing that work is making salt water solution and sniffing it deeply from the nose... That was the only thing that worked.

Use your hands for this technique. Pour some saltwater into your palm. Sniff the liquid up your nose, one nostril at a time. Blow your nose lightly.
