The energy within this election felt different...It seemed people were more enthusiastic to place their vote =)IP: Logged |

To me it seemed to me that most people were voting out of greater fear than usual, that is to say they weren't so much enthusiastically voting FOR a candidate, but voting AGAINST a candidate in near terror. IP: Logged |

The changes have already begun with the dawning Age of Aquarius! I kind of agree with your point Pixie Jane. This election definitely felt like a two edged sword to most voters including myself. I had to overcome apathy in order to vote. However, after coming to my senses, I did in fact vote for Obama to continue to hold the Presidency. However, I'm not going to lie I breathed a gigantic sigh of relief when he did win because of how disturbingly close Mitt Romney and his pal Paul Ryan managed to get toward commanding this nation. I'm from MA originally, and I know all about Mitt and his "agenda." In the Age of Aquarius, humanity is foreshadowed to come together, to unify. If we continue to find ways to see past our differences, with Aquarius Rising comes the growth of a unified and universalized group mentality. For a man like Romney who ran his platform on the idea that less then half this country didn't matter, the efforts for unification were completely thwarted. He needed to divide the nation in order to win. And he got pretty close by antagonizing more than half of the nation into voting against him for Obama. Now we've got to unify in order to move forward or get gridlocked in stagnant evolution. IP: Logged |

It was the most expensive election ever...over two billion dollars. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I couldn't help but note how MA came out in favor of Obama...apparently many in his state (at least the one he governed in) are less than pleased with him. IP: Logged |

It's interesting definitely but not surprising because the state of MA despises Mitt Romney. Romney had a 30% approval rating when he left office. I personally thought his opponent Shannon O'Brien would take the cake however, Romney had the millions to run a pretty aggressive campaign and he won. Shannon did not have said millions and didn't manage to reach a wide enough base and lost. Of course he didn't seek reelection because of the dismal impact his term had on the state of MA (and because he had other plans). He only ran for governor to secure his ticket as a presidential prospective for the 2008 election. He wasn't even living in MA when he started campaigning, he was living in UTAH. Doing who knows what, oh yeah trying to pull a Gandhi with the Winter Olympics, and assume all the credit. IP: Logged |

Not that I agree with this, but according to David Icke, the reason Romney didn't win is because he doesn't have that Royal bloodline like every other president, i.e. he's not Reptilian. So, I guess you guys re-elected another lizard who wants to eradicate 85 percent of the world's population and make slaves of the remaining 15 percent. IP: Logged |

I'm into a lot of conspiracy theories, but whats up with the reptilian thing? That is just wack. I guess I was apart of some history. My first time ever I voted for a 3rd party. And he got 1% of the votes. Apparently 3rd parties don't ever get that high of a vote. So it is, and isn't a big deal. IP: Logged |

Maybe one day, there will be a true third party system.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I believe a 3rd party system would be ideal. It would aid in preventing a right wing or socialistic take over.Providing a moderate balance. ------------------ We dance around the ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and Knows Robert Frost IP: Logged |
