It is strange seeing flowers poking up through the snow here like they sometimes do when it snows in April.IP: Logged |

We have had snow as late as May 3rd., and a blizzard as late as April 19th. I was hoping we would get lucky and not get the below freezing here this Winter, but it has come. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.IP: Logged |

Hey Lexx try a winter in northern MI.... I just waded through 3 ft snow to excercise the puppies. They were still going when all I could do in sit on a snowy stump in the woods. Somehow, it made the temp of 8 degrees feel like fifty degrees lol. Agreed! The temperature on my bedroom floor has been 38 F degrees the past few days and the bed not much warmer. Wearing 4 shirts/sweaters etc., to bed and two pairs pants and gloves and a cowlneck hat. Nose gets cold though. Two pairs socks and slippers too. Brrrrrrrrr! Hopefully we can get some new heaters installed before next Winter.

a long wet spring with mucho late snow but it seems to have turned the corner. Flowers finally popping and summer birds making their way back to my summer grounds. It shakes the cranky out of me and makes me happy again! ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.
