"With Food We Remember"... a quote from the 2014 movie available on DVD, "The Hundred-Foot Journey." It's a delectable food film, same director as the movie Chocolat, so very sensual. If food appeals to your senses you will love this movie. An immigrant family from Bombay opens a restaurant 100 feet from an established pricey Michelin Star restaurant in a small town in Southern France and a battle ensues. You will find tension, passion and love (not sex), in this family-centered , heart-filled story. Very uplifting. Hope you like it. IP: Logged |

Yes, Valentine, and the sex is implied in one scene, but not shown. So this could be a film the family could watch together. Loved it when the children spit out the "yucky" French food. I imagine if you grew up in India western food would taste bland. IP: Logged |

Our libraries have huge movie collections. 100% free, 1 week loans. There's also inter-library loan so you can borrow books and movies from other libraries in our state, from universities, probably from other states, too. IP: Logged |
