Omg it's so good. If you're a vegan you must try it and I am not exaggerating but it is much better than actual Mac and cheese! This is gluten free and vegan.Cube = about 1 cm big cube Ingredients:
- corn elbow pasta (2 cups)
- nutritional yeast (2 tablespoons)
- potato (10 cubes)
- sweet potato (5 cubes)
- carrot (8 cubes)
- onion (white or red doesn't matter) (2 cubes)
- salt (1/2 teaspoon) I personally use pink Himalayan salt but it taste the same as regular salt. Boil the pasta.
Drain it. Boil the potato, sweet potato, and carrot cubes until a fork can easily pass through it (about 10-15 minutes) in a small pot. Then take a small bowl and add the nutritional yeast, (5-7) tablespoons of water from the boiling water and the boiled vegetables. Also add the onion. Add it to the blender and let it blend. When smooth take it out and add the salt in it. Add it to the pasta and it's done. I eat my vegan food alone so I made it for 1 person. You can always double or triple the recipe. Sorry I know "cubes" sounds weird but I'm not an expert at measuring or defining but I hope you get it. IP: Logged |
