Forum arguments are occurring in many new age forums. Since I know the charts of most knowflakes, I know for certain that they wont argue on anything if they meet in person but with this challenging transit, internet arguments WILL go out of control.

The best way to comment or even disagree in such times is to state your point, the reasons for your point, and then full stop.

I know that Saturn/Uranus is a revolutionary aspect and revolutions often include wars/disputes. But this is part of a cycle that involves a single person aggressively attacking, hurting, and even driving out some very good people for years on end. Therefore it can't be attributed to just Saturn/Uranus, although that aspect doesn't help. Maybe, hopefully, the Saturn/Uranus revolutionary effect on LL can be an end to the abusive bullying of others by a person who displays narcissistic personality disorder (it exactly fits Valus's behaviors and patterns on LL - specifically a fanatic type narcissist experiencing narcissistic rage).

That's my point and the reasons for my point, and here's the full stop.

i know there were a lot of hurt feelings here. i understand this is not the first time. but if you bruise easily whitewater rafting is not a great choice of holiday..?

and there is no honour in dissecting someone once they have admitted error and left the room. even if you have seen it all before.

i work with someone with a grandiose case of narcissistic disorder if not ALSO entirely schizoid. a steady stream of "new faces" in the organization she runs helps keep it afloat, and the lawsuits are rare...it took me awhile to realize i was never going to change her and not to engage in attempts to do so. now i hardly ever see her and conduct my work in peace without having had to leave the building... and what i learned from her is .. priceless.

sticks and stones, y'know. after all this is an ONLINE room...

about the thread and everything....these days I prefer people who are less talk and more action. Less apologizing and more reflecting and doing inner changing. I'm familliar with certain ways by now (i grew up with a parent like this) and would prefer to see someone walk their talk instead. Some people are quick to apologize but the heavy work of the soul doesnt transoform easily or overnight and sometimes it seems simply wants to be coddled.

a war story: until airborne warfare, everyone who invaded russia experienced defeat, in the same way. as winter (quite long in those parts) set in the countrymen burned what crops they could not take with them and backed off. the soldiers couldn't kill anyone because there was no one available, nor did they find any food...and largely they starved to death, or limped home with frostbite and malnutrition.

the russians could have stood and fought but they didn't have much of an army. but even napoleon couldn't beat what he couldn't find.

unfortunately i don't have a tv so i have to admit i've never seen "glee"...

This is just the case.

Unfortunately, he is not capable of holding a civilised discussion for some reason or the other, and turns to aggressive verbal abuse systematically when somebody else's point of view is presented.

His best and most used argument is to slap his opponent with a loud insult.

If the opponent still persists with their point of view (shock, horror), they are usually advised to go f*ck themselves.

I have just described a typical and boringly repetitive scenario of V's way of debating.

I think some people are quite rightly getting fed up with this behaviour, whether it's caused by narcissism, grandiosity or simply the lack of social skills, which are necessary for interaction with people, even if it's online forum.

Being online is not an excuse for that type of behaviour and should never be.

The negativity spills around the entire site now! This is why I don't hang around here much anymore.

Even the apologies have backhanders. All this talk about seeing the God in others... where is it? I'm really sad. I used to love coming here.

we're only small in the scheme of things and our time is really short - and too precious for this. Call me idealist - I've been called worse.

It can be easy to forget who you are and your own values and become that which you oppose. I've found it's a fine line. Choose your battles wisely, as most of them really aren't worth fighting.

I think humility is when you see yourself in others and them in you. As much as we're all unique, there's not much that separates us - only what we choose.
