i love tatts and would like to know who of my fellow LLers have some:1-how many
2-what are they (image or phrase)
3-where is it (you dont have to say if you dont want to)
4-why did you get it/what it meant to you
5-add pictures!! i have an eye of Horus tatt on my right wrist, its all black except for the iris which is blue. i got mine right before my 20th birthday so its a little less than 2 years old.. i had had a rough summer and was going through an Adam Lambert phase :P the eye is supposed to ward off evil eyes, will include photo soon.. i've been thinking of getting another wrist tatt of a crab in memory of my dad.. ..please do share  IP: Logged |

i want 2 giant wings across my back if my skin could heal well. it doesn't.thinking about a taurus symbol or a bull itself (my sun) maybe a scorpion too (rising) but i imagine them better on the upper arms but i like forearm tattoos much much more. a heart with daggers and snakes iv always wanted. good thing i never did coz it would just look like i'm an ed hardy fan. i have a 7 tattoo my day of birth and lifepath number. 1 - for now i have one... there are four more to go - have to wait to find another artist though2- two intertwined ouroboros, one green the other purple
3- lower back
4- a little too personal to fully explain why this particular one...i will say that the ouroboros one of the symbols of immortality 5- sorry  no pics interesting that you have the eye of Horus - that's one of the next ones i am planning... the eye also represents wisdom and knowledge so you made a good choice ------------------

i hate scorpio tatts because they are so cliché.. but if you find the right design than maybe, heart with daggers and snakes --->major cliché
now the bull tatts are awesome, i've seen very cool designs they can be either macho or just artistic and original.. oh and sand, FYI, i have a -killer- crush on a sun conjuct venus in taurus guy, so im watching you like a hawk  IP: Logged |

iz nice, honestly! can't think of another place to put it at the moment so i guess you chose wisely. front of the hand?i was thinking of a mermaid to put on a forearm so it would look like a seaman's tattoo like the one sean connery has from his time in the navy. i'm no navy man but my fam has history with shipping and boats. my mom is a pisces too. tho she won't appreciate the gesture haha! not this exactly but ive seen a lot of art with a mermaid in this position. would make it all black probly. yeah they do seem cliche. anyways i won't be getting one so iz all just imagining what would be really cool LOL. but who knows if i find a nice idea for astro tattoos i might risk it. but my skin really doesn't respond well to scarring. any ideas? like a hawk?!  i like your nail color ehehehe! what is it with bulls and the color red?! btw you asked about sensitive skin and tattoos, i dont think it should be a problem just go to a proper tattoo parlor/artist (certified or whatever) and he will prescribe ointments you should use on your new tattoo.. tatts are not scars, they dont brake the skin, they are ink injected into the second layer of skin, mine healed perfectly.. of course i do have perfect smooth tanned skin.. you know ..hehehe IP: Logged |

i actually don't like red. sand likes green! iz just classic on nails. we like classic stuff. tasteful. but you should ask this guy. fashion designer valentino a taurus born in may known for the red dress. hwoakay gotta hide my sun conjunct venus behind badass tatt talk now! i was actually asking what u thot are cool astro/ mystical tatoos. what about a tarot card? oh and thanks for teasing me about smooth skin! just great! only 1 heart for you IP: Logged |

Venus - i like how clean the lines are on yours... your dude/ette did a good jobsand - very cool mermaid pic - would make an interesting choice with some modifications... ------------------

Anyway, I have a rose on my middle finger, that was a cover up of the letter "D". I have a butterfly on my right shoulder that was done in Naples Italy by one of Ozzy Osbourne's tattoo artists, so
probably I won't mess with that one. And I have a huge parrot on my
left boob.
It is covering up a winged heart
(noticing a theme of devotion/regret? hehe, welcome to my life!) anyway,
I have three more I am wanting to get.
I want to get each one of my childrens astro pics.
So, I want to get two fishes on my foot (that would be for my daughter and her son, both pisces)
and for my son, I want to get the cliche' scorpio tattoo, on my stomach. ouch.
And lastly, I want to get a lion,
on my forearm for my youngest, the leo.
but, I'm not that fond of lions, so I am
still searching for the right one.

@sunshine: yes thats exactly what it is, its also known as the eagle eye, eye of ra, and most commonly eye of horus..@Gyps: that is such a sweet idea! astro tatts are very meaningful, to us atleast  , when you said lion on forearm i thought Robbie Williams he has a very illaborate lion tatt on his arm i dont think you'd want that much details but check it out! @ sand, if your going with a commercial brand i'd say youd ask for a commission you'd be like a walking ad.. tarot cards are kewl, dont go get a death card though very eery x_xyou can always get a tattoo of Venus, she's beautiful you know and since she's your ruling planet (and mine  ) then it seems fit! maybe venus with a bull if your willing to go the extra mile.. thanks for the heart eventhough its missing one thats how its gnna be huh? i give and u take!!! roothless!
