I'm thinking about having nice crusty brown bread, fresh home grown lettuce, ripe cherry tomatoes, dipped in olive oil mixed with a squeeze of lemon, a bit of salt and peper and a lot of finely chopped herbs. Finger-licking good. Then for dessert... probably some cold diced fruits, topped with a sauce (coconut milk/cream + some sugar - boil it over low heat until thickened, add vanilla extract and let it cool), and macadamia. Or should I go for a meaty meal? I love beef. But the weather is so damn hot, I feel that something fresh and green will be better. And the virgo influenced presence in my life will be very pleased lol. IP: Logged |

Yum indeed. I really love olive oil. and mozzarella. This thread makes my stomach growl. -- For tonight's dinner: - Chestnut rice. - Cucumber soup (pork ribs or chicken bones, cucumber, carrots, apples and corn - simmer for 2 hours, then add chopped parsley. No seasoning needed). Sweet and refreshing. It's said to have cooling effects, so I often make it in summer. For dessert: - Chestnuts in syrup (simmer chestnuts in water, sugar, cinnamon sticks until soft and can be pierced through easily. Add vanilla extract, rum or cognac if you like). - Fermented sticky rice.
