oh it's kp vedic astro! no wonder i seem to have never encountered it before. i've never looked into kp astro. it's confusing tho..

I don't get it. I went to the site indicated by the link and could see no free services. I went there thinking I can do my vedic chart and report for free like you did. Or did you pay for your vedic chart on that site????IP: Logged |

Once you have successfully referenced something for not-being-yours and have given the link to the original page, you are absolutely within your rights to post it!! ^ Okay so I am confused about nakshatras.
Apparently this star should not influence me. Honestly I relate this nakashtra more then my sun moon and asc. Physically and mentally. I have my sun mercury and venus in rohini. I read somewhere that these stars only influence planets which is ruled by that stars own planet. Others places I read they only influence the house they rule. Also that they just influence the planets. This sums up my personality ...a thin person, decidedly underweight, who has a critical and analytical turn of mind. His critical attitude toward everything and everybody develops, unless checked, into a disposition to find fault continually. He is inordinately fond of the opposite sex. i also relate to this and it sounds closer to my leo moon/cancer mc than other readings. ima yes on the scar. 1. Physical features: there may be a distinguishing mark, scar or a black mole on the face. 2. Character and general events:

not very much compared to leo. pushya is leo-ish. i'll look at the padaas later. i think there is a more specific type for each nakshatra but i dunno how to find out for sure. i think my other link mentions the pada. i think ima pada 2. hafta check.. EDIT: oh you mean my sun sign here changes from taurus to aries. no not very much. if i do it will be due to other factors like my merc or 1st house planets. not the sun. IP: Logged |

i got a bit of it.. finally have some time to look this up so i went to the mykundali link and entered my deets then went to basic details.. quote:

Hi everyone, this website can generate three charts for use in Vedic astrology - the lagna (which is the regular natal), the rashi (based on moon), and Navamsha:
http://www.astrogyan.com/ It's tough to deal with different names for all the planets, but you can google them. I'm not sure what the Navamsha is for yet.
However, I've read a little bit on Vedic and looked into my personal charts. I go with Western for personality/appearance descriptions. There are other factors, angles and predictive matters, that Vedic is great for and I found studying it very valuable. A few things I learned: The time you are born puts you into a certain "dasa" period ruled by certain planets, and these last for years (see http://www.findyourfate.com/indianastro/dasa.html). These periods are divided into smaller sub-periods, which are divided even further, etc. Rahu and Ketu are the nodes in Vedic and are symbolized by a snake. Vedic also has a Saturn return, except it is based upon your moon sign not sun sign and can come any time in your life. It is called Sade Sati, and equivalent of Saturn return except longer.
