So think have followed it right; 1.Scorpio – Pluto 2.It’s in the 1st house 3.1st house is about one’s personality and who we become. 4.No other planets in 1st house 5.As above. 6.Scorpio rules the 8th house = “Ruler of 8th in 1st “one cannot hide one’s deepest emotions or passions. One wears them on his sleeve.” Now do I look to my second house ruler (sag/Jupiter) and go from there to work out how the other houses interact/focus? Would it all connect to the 1st house (house ruler) even though there are no other planets in the 1st House?IP: Logged |

Going off this I'm going to assume you have the sign of Scorpio in your 1st House (Scorpio ASC). Like you mentioned, Pluto is the planet that rules over the sign of Scorpio. So now we have to see where Pluto is sitting. If Pluto is sitting in your 1st house, then your 1st house ruler is in the 1st house. So you didn't have to do much work there. So now if you wanna do the same w/ your 2nd house, you said the sign of Sagittarius rules over your 2nd house. What's the planet that rules Sagittarius? Jupiter, like you said. So now locate what house Jupiter is sitting in. (Always check sign first, then ask yourself what is the planet that rules over that particular sign, then actually find that said planet) Hope that helped IP: Logged |

Hi, Was going to wait a bit longer to make sure got the basics first, but impatient. So going by the house sign first and then locating the planets. 1st house ruler is in the 1st house. 2nd house ruler is in the 7th house. 3rd house ruler is in the 3rd house. 4th house ruler is in the 3rd house. 5th house ruler is in the 2rd house. 6th house ruler is in the 6th house. 7th house ruler is in the 2nd house. 8th house ruler is in the 4th house. 9th house ruler is in the 6th house. 10th house ruler is in the 6th house. 11th house ruler is in the 3rd house. 12th house ruler is in the 2nd house.Using default or Placidus don't have Pisces on the cusp of a house. But it's planet is in the 3rd house. Now the next bit is a whole heap of guesswork. Houses 1,3 and 6 are strong since have their planets in their houses. House 2 & 7 work together since their planets are in the others house. There are two other planets in each of the 3 and 6th house. Guessing the houses (4,9,10 & 11) are influenced or come out in houses 3/6. Then think might be getting into a rabbit hole. Thinking along the lines, the 8th house links to the 4th which links to the 3rd(in it's own house) So how have I done? IP: Logged |

I think you pretty much got it down but maybe if you post your chart it will help. Can you post an image of your chart from astro.com? IP: Logged |

Yes the list you posted was correct. As far as your 8H, I would look at the 8H ruler (which is in the 4H) and stop there but that's just me personally. But you are right in the sense that technically, since the 4H ruler is in the 3H, the 8H, 4H and 3H may appear to be connected. But then you can say that every house is connected to each other and there would be nowhere to draw the line (ok now you dragged me into your rabbit hole lol). If you wanna go deeper w/ house rulers, you can even throw in the secondary rulers for a few of the signs Scorpio (Pluto and Mars) Aquarius (Uranus and Saturn) Pisces (Jupiter and Neptune) For example, your 5H is ruled by Aquarius, so you'll look to where Uranus and Saturn is (which is the 2H and 3H, respectively) So now you can check for these extra planets. Some astrologers use them and some don't so it's really up to you IP: Logged |

Okay will step away from the rabbit hole for now. lol. So what does this information do/represent? Just how to bring out other houses to balance ourselves out? What we find important in this life? Or a combination of both? And Thankyou IP: Logged |

It tells you how different areas of your lives connect. Just like in life. Some people bring creativity (5H) into their career (10H), or they find spirituality or put meaning (12H) into their everyday routines and jobs (6H). It also helps when you have empty houses w/ no planets. You can look at the house ruler to find information about that area of your life. IP: Logged |
