Anon does excellent readings and I think she offered. This forum is really growing ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

She did offer. Why was her offer not accepted? IP: Logged |

I would like to thank everyone for their nominations--both here and via e-mails. There's only two slots open, so do not feel slighted if not chosen. I have to look at a lot of factors when selecting Mods...from time spent here to length of time here to trust/loyalty to interpersonal/diplomatic skills to leadership qualities to my gut feelings. There are good Teachers who may not make good Mods and vice versa. This Forum requires both in order to flourish. It's always great to have choices in a selection process, but it does make my job that much more difficult. I'm usually a very decisive person, and my decisions are not always right, but this Forum requires extra consideration. So, bear with me, everyone. IP: Logged |

Perfect ! Anongrl fits the criteria for mod or teacher .
It looks like your hopes this forum will be as big as PR in on the horizon ------------------ Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi~ IP: Logged |

Yeah, I knew it would get there, but I'm shocked it is growing so quickly. I thought it would take a few years to pick up. We are attracting some mainstream Astrology names and eliciting interest in the international Astrology community. We still have a long way to go, but we are gaining momentum.IP: Logged |

I actually never expected PR to become what it has. It was formed to keep the personal requests off the other Forums. I'm amazed almost every day at what Lindaland has become...and at how many people give to one another and help each other. It's very uplifting to witness. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I realized yesterday, that something said about rudeness and nosyness, might have been directed at me, when I remembered this thread.I asked the question having forgotten certain things. A little while later, I remembered that all wasn't so pleasant for whatever reason - reasons I don't care to know - so I didn't come back to this thread to look for an answer. If the comment was directed at me, then cut it out - you know who you are. I like you (well, I'm not too fond of you right in this moment). I called you out on rudeness in one thread, when I was feeling upset over my sister, and the way women treat other women (or the way in which *some* women treat other women). I only care to know what people want to tell me, and I didn't give it another thought until a while after I saw that comment. I'm really sick to death of it. IP: Logged |

I don't see anything about rudeness on this string.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I would nominate myself but I'm new at the site and you do not know me well enough to know if I possess the qualities you seek ------------------ quote: Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Being a teacher is separate from a Mod. A Mod has to possess great resolve, patience, and the ability to step outside of a situation to view it impartially. It is a thankless job. But I also need teachers here--for which there is no limit on the number. I simply have to grant special permission to post new topics to the teachers.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
