My Jupiter is in the 9th house and in Cancer. It's at 1 degrees Cancer conjunct mars at 28 degrees Gemini, trine ascendant that is 28 degrees Libra, wide trine to Uranus by 7 degress, sextile sun buy 4 degrees, sextile chiron by 4 degrees and semi-sextile Venus by 29 minutes. I have only positive aspects to my Jupiter. I LOOVVEE my Jupiter, I think it's the best part of my chart. I'm very jovial and I can't hold a grudge against people. I'd help anyone out, family, friends and even strangers. I have GREAT luck in life. When I need something, it comes along What do you think Ami Anne of my Jupiter? Thanks

Here's my chart if you all want a look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/poppy_1977/8019975523/in/photostream/

Conjunct Mars makes you goal driven in the best of ways.Your other placements add to the strength of Jupiter and it is a wonderful, optimistic planet. I can see why you love it so much!

Good question. I am not exactly sure which influences which. My guess is that Jupiter would help with the pain of Chiron. My guess is that Jupiter would be a stronger energy than Chiron, so more dominant and more influential.

Thanks Ami. It seems like my Chiron has been stronger so far, but maybe it'll change with time...?

Chiron seems as if it will be felt as a wound is felt. I do not think Chiron can ever be healed, personally. I believe true to the myth, that Chiron stays a wound and the area is the HOUSE in which it resides. However, we can heal to the greatest degree by service to others from our pain..
I see that pain is really needed to be of service to others. If not, you are arrogant. You need to have fallen and failed in order to have a humble attitude to others who are struggling. If not, you are arrogant. That is my personal experience with Chiron. I have it in the 4th house of the mother and my mother molested me, if you have not heard my story. My service to others seem to come out of this wound, to some extent.

^ Well-said. Chiron is called the Wounded Healer. My take on that is that the wound never heals (as Ami stated). But I also feel that the person can instead help others to heal in that area. Here is what Wikipedia says:

In Greek mythology, the centaur Chiron was known as the "Wounded Healer," having been poisoned by one of Hercules's arrows; but because he wasn't able to heal himself he suffered thereafter from an incurable wound.

It is also possible that Jung derives the term "wounded healer" from the ancient Greek legend of Asclepius, a physician who in identification of his own wounds creates a sanctuary at Epidaurus in order to treat others.

Yes, the healing of others is very precious and life enhancing to the person. If you look for your Chiron, in that house you can heal others. Mine, as you might imagine, is in the 4th house, the house of the mother and early childhood but I do seem to be of service to others who are struggling with this. My service provides me with joy and meaning. I think that is what we can do with our Chirons.

I really am not sure how Jupiter fits in there. My feeling is that Jupiter would mitigate the pain of Chiron as Jupiter is the fairy godmother. It brings wonderful joyful and optimistic feelings to what it touches. However, I need you to teach me about it, as I don't have it, personally, nor have had much experience with it, doing charts.

I have Jupiter in Capricorn, the very last bit of the 7th house, but it opposes my Sun (Cancer).

I've read that it means I stand in the way of my own luck. Is that how it should be interpreted and if so, how to deal with it?

WEll, I would think that it may make you too generous and too expansive(generous/ extravagant etc) and then later you would have to pull back because you overdid. Then, you would do it again, as a kind of cycle. Does this fit?

Very true. Jupiter is thought not to do much damage even in squares and oppositions but it can make a person give or do too much and then have consequences such as spending too much money etc and have to pull back.

These threads are great!

I have Jupiter in Leo in 1st with a Leo Asc. That's an extra expansive Jupiter isn't it? It is also conjunct Pluto and Regulus by 1 degree. Actually, that may be a triple whammy. So, what is keeping me from experiencing success, riches and power!

I have Jupiter in Gemini in the 7th house.

It is the ONLY planet in my chart that isn't afflicted.
It only quintiles my sun and mercury and biquintiles my neptune. oh and it's semi-sextile my chiron

This thread is giving me a better understanding of what jupiter is because it's been a blind spot for me. Does anyone have interpretation on those aspects of mine?

It squares Neptune in 2nd, opposes Mars in Scorpio 11th and trines Venus in Virgo 9th House. It also squares Mercury in Leo 9th House with a 7 degree seperating orb.

I have struggled to find an indepth description my Jupiter
